My one problem is the 5' cable. The cable is permanently attached so buying a longer cable is not an option. Here are photos of how I get optimal reception for the NBC and CBS affiliates, since I cannot put the antenna on an exterior wall. The antenna faces the window. For all other channels, the antenna can sit on the tv stand either on the corner, or back more securely.

I have a mobile TV cart I move around throughout the home and this antenna picks up all 6 local stations (3-1,10-1,13-1,27-1,33-1,and 43-1), 1080p broadcast. Product very cheaply made, flemsy cardboard. Did not work at all. Very disappointed.

I purchased mine with a Roku bundle. When I'm not streaming, and I want to watch local channels, news, PBS, CW everything comes just fine. The person who took care of me suggested I hang it in a window or as close as I can to a window, up high, so far so good. Good advice. It's nice. Better then the antenna we had on the roof in the old days. I do have another brand in the living room and I would say this one is powerful. I'm happy with it. I'm free of cable and dish. Paying only for Internet, and one streaming service. Still a lot less $$$ each month.The cable needs to be longer though, so I can wire it out of sight. Still not bad at all, even with the line not being generous.

Love the choice of having white or black facing in or outside of the window. We have the black side facing outside, making it less noticeable. We now get (free) ABC, CBS and about 10 other stations. Wanted NBC but can’t get it even though it’s in the mileage range. This antenna is small & lightweight. Easy to put in the window. We use it just for local tv and subscribe to Direct Tv Now. Between the antenna and the DTN we get everything we used to watch on cable (except NBC) for $103 less a month!

This antenna works relatively well, although if it is not mounted in a window with a line of sight to your area broadcast towers, it may have difficulty receiving some channels. I am about 25 miles from my local television broadcast towers and, when installed in my bedroom (interior wall away from the windows), I was not able to receive several local channels. I eventually installed an amplified external antenna (for only a few dollars more) and have been much, much happier with that setup. If you are not inclined to install an external antenna and you are rather close to your broadcast antennas, this particular antenna may work well for you. If you are out in the suburbs like I am, though, you may not be happy with its performance. (I do not believe that shortcoming is unique with just this model. I suspect any internal antenna will suffer in comparison to an external option.)

I got rid of cable a year ago and got you tube tv, I still wanted to be able to watch our local news station so I got this antenna. Its small enough and very thin. I'm able to get our local news channel and a few other channels. So I'm happy with it. The picture quality of the news station is awesome. Perfect picture quality.

Antenna overall is good and the price was great. Really easy to install, which was essential for me. I pick up a lot of unexpected channels with it, but I'm guessing that would vary depending on location as well as any opportunities for interference in your area. I would recommend this to others.

I purchased this HDTV antenna for a smart tv in my master bathroom that is not hooked up to cable. It was easy to hookup and is not obtrusive (tv is above towel bar and antenna is behind the towels). I am able to get all of the local channels as well as additional channels that are not in my area. This was the perfect option for me to be able to watch the morning news while I am getting ready to go to work or evening programs while brushing my teeth. All in all, the antenna works great and the picture on my smart tv is better than the picture on my other tvs that are hooked up,to cable.

This antenna works really well for certain channels and not so well for other channels, it depends on the antenna's location to pick up certain channel. This antenna did pick up more channels than another antenna. The quality is great for the channels that work (1080i) for most channels! If you cannot afford cable, this is a good option for local TV channels.

Very easy to set-up, just plug to TV, position the flat antenna, and run channel scan via TV menu. May take few tries for best picture quality, but nothing more than adjusting the position of antenna few inches here and there. I used scotch tape and put it on the wall lightly so that I can move it around for better picture quality. I do have basic cable in the living room, but not 4k streaming quality packet. This antenna provides 4k quality from many of the channels and I'm considering getting another one for living room and dropping the cable once my contract runs out in few months.

It works better than the antenna I used to have so that was a big plus. The cable attached to the antenna was a lot shorted than my old antenna, minus. I live near a city so picking up channels is usually not a problem. The problem usually lies around bad weather or sometimes one of the channel's strength is not so good. This antenna does a better job with that, but does not completely solve the problem. It made my wife happy. Happy wife, happy life!

Purchased as a daily deal...great price! This antenna works very well. I am currently receiving about 55 channels. The major 5 network channels are in HD and look just as good if not better than my digital cable. Hooked it up and moved around a bit to find the best reception. Ran a channel scan on my TV...55 channels!

This item was straight forward, nothing unexpected. Works like I wanted it to, got about 24 over the air channels and went well with my small Flat TV I also bought from Best Buy. It is a bit pricier since you can probably get a cheaper one that does the same thing. But if you enjoy the brand of Rocketfish and the sleek look then this will be good for you!

This is my third HD Antenna and I am really happy with how well this Antenna pulls in the OTA channels. It does as good as a powered Antenna I have. It is very thin and comes with a nice stand so it is easy to adjust for better reception. I am really satisfied with this purchase.

This is a great upgrade if you have an older digital antenna. Mine was like 10 years old and I had to move it all around to get certain channels. With the Rocketfish I just hung it on the wall and BOOM!, I received waaaay more channels without having to reposition it. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because if you walk by it the singnal kinda breakups up

So I purchase this antenna because its slim, and can be put in a window or flat agains the wall. And this antenna has been working AMAZING! Gives me more than 100 channels i get all local channels and great quality picture resolution 1080i in all my local channels. Havent lost connection at all even with all this raining and cloudy days here in L.A, CA. Great antenna.

bought it for my mom's house, for a TV that doesnt have cable. the antenna she was using didnt really get a lot of channels, this one picked up more channels and the picture is very clear. there was one station I was hoping to get that still didnt come in but I am ok with getting more than I had.

This antenna works surprising well. I was skeptical that this antenna would not pull in all local HD over air channels being approximately 25-miles away from nearest sources. This surprising small, thin antenna works great. I give it 4-stars as I wait to see and experience how the antenna performs during inclement weather.
