Rollerball - 4K Blu-Ray [4K Ultra HD Blu-ray]

First time watching it, I’d only seen the remake at that point. The original has a far better story. The scream factory 4k looks great.

Great old school action movie. Skip the awful remake.

This flick is one of my faves, especially seeing as I prefer the 70's/80's era of movies (the remake is nowhere as good, IMO). This is one of James Caan's best. However, I received the wrong version of this item (or the title description is incorrect). But Best Buy made it right. Let me explain: I ordered Rollerball with a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray "AND" a Blu-ray in the title. However, what I received in the mail only has the 4k Ultra Blu-ray included, but with no Blu-ray. This is a problem for me as I do not have a 4k Blu-ray player (yet). So, having a 1080p Blu-ray disc would've held me over will the UHD players are on a deep sale. So, be aware, this version I ordered here ONLY comes with an Ultra HD Blu-ray, no normal 1080p one.

well, we’re basically living it now aren’t we? so, I’d say it was fairly accurate. I felt terrible for the fireballer trees. Don’t bother with the remake. Don’t bother with most remakes, especially the Day the Earth Stood Still. There’s a bad place waiting for those responsible for that one.

James Caan stars as a player in a futuristic sport called Rollerball. The movie looks and sounds good for a 1975 movie on 4K UHD. James had some memorable movies in his career including 1990's MISERY and 1996's ERASURE with Arnold Schwarzenegger. I do recommend this one!
