I bought this to replace a Cambridge Audio integrated amp for my home study 2-channel setup. I listen to music at low to moderate levels primarily, and was looking for more overall depth of sound and detail. I am very happy with the results, and would highly recommend.

Bought this to power some Dynaudio Evoke 20 stand mount speakers. At 86db efficient and 6 ohm, they like the power this amp can provide. Immediately noticed a difference. I was using a Primaluna EVO 300 tube amp, although it drove them IMO it was taking a lot out the tubes. So I bought this. Still using my PL tube pre-amp. Seems like this amp gave the music a little more edge especially to drums and cymbals. Even when listening louder than normal this barely breaks a sweat. This is used in a vinyl and reel to reel system. Highly recommend.

There aren't many reviews for this amplifier so I'll add my two cents worth. I initially bought this amp to replace a carver a500x which had lost a channel. I hooked it into the main system in place of one of my Peachtree 220s powering Bowers & Wilkins 705s2. clearer, more open soundstage and depth. I had also hooked it up to an Arcam fmj a19, and a B&K pro 10mc running Sonus Faber Venere 2.5, and Magnepan mmgs. Long story short, it ended up not replacing the a500x but one of the Peachtrees being fed from a Mcintosh C220 preamp.

I added this Rotel amp to my Denon AVR-X6400H receiver to supply more power to my B&W CM10 S2 main speakers. While the Denon did a good job, the 200w per channel Rotel has really opened the soundstage and allowed the B&W to really "sing" (pun intended). Next step would to be adding the 200w per channel x 5 model so all 7 main channels (B&W's) in my 7.2.4 system will be running the same spec amps.

Wish I had done this upgrade sooner. What a difference in total sonic quality. Worth the extra to get separates .
