Works wonderfully, more fun than ironing.
This is my second steamer, the first one was a Mr. Butler and was more expensive, but it was finicky and would steam good, then steam half-heartedly. This Rowenta has been constant and great steam all the time. Does not take up as much room in storage, the unit goes flat against a wall and is very sturdy when stored or in use, no flopping over. No heavy floppy hose either this hose is light and highly maneuverable. I love the backdrop screen it's like a second set of hands helping. The small tank was a concern but actually it does last a very long time, I can get several shirts and jeans done with one tank of distilled water. Steaming is way more fun than ironing. Yes, it is fun! Very cathartic to slowly melt the wrinkles out of clothes without all the flipping, turning, and worry of a hot iron and cord. Clothes come out smooth and no risk of burning the cloth. Far better for fabrics than an iron. If you are still ironing you should try a steamer. You won't get a crisp seam on jeans or shirts as an iron will do, but if you don't care for that stiff dated look and the work it takes, the steamer is the way to go. You will find yourself doing tee shirts you never ironed before for the ease and fun of it.

Hot water leaks from the head
After a long research effort to find a good steamer: we decided on this one. Some of the reviews mentioned that they had issues with it leaking but thought maybe we can get lucky…I didn’t open our unit right away, so it wasn’t until about two months later when we first put it to use. It takes the wrinkles out no problem but the burning hot water leaks from the head and burns my hands. Also, my clothes are wet when I’m finished. Made very poorly. I tried to return it to BestBuy - but they told me they no longer return anything that is past a month…call the manufacturer….so I called the manufacturer- and they do not make returns either! So please do not waste your money on this! I took chance and obviously Now I’m stuck with it! So disappointed.
