Dion Francis DiMucci (born July 18, 1939), better known as Dion, is an American singer and songwriter. His music incorporates elements of doo-wop, pop, rock, R&B, folk and blues. Initially the lead singer of the vocal group Dion and the Belmonts, Dion was one of the most prominent rock and roll performers of the pre-British Invasion era. He had 39 Top 40 hits in the late 1950s and early 1960s as a solo performer, or with the Belmonts and the Del-Satins. He is best remembered for his signature hit songs InchRunaround SueInch, InchThe WandererInch, InchRuby BabyInch and InchLovers Who WanderInch, all on this LP among 16 others.

Mountain was the legendary American rock band led by Leslie West. The band was formed by West and Felix Pappalardi in 1969 playing one of it's early dates at the equally legendary Woodstock Festival in August 1969. In September 1969 Corky Laing joined Mountain replacing original drummer Norman Smart. They became a major live draw, following hard on the heels of Cream and Jimi Hendrix and the band's improvisational approach really took off in a concert setting. The combination of Leslie West's peerless guitar pyrotechnics, the crunch and drive of the Felix Pappalardi/ Corky Laing rhythm section, and the melodic frosting of Steve Knight's keyboards made for a memorable live experience. This 2CD set is a comprehensive Mountain compilation, with all the classics and many of the underrated gems in their catalogue. These include InchBlood Of The SunInch, InchDreams Of Milk And Honey, and InchOne Last Cold KissInch. This EP features a collection of songs written with Katie Crutchfield's now-dormant experimental recording group Great Thunder while she was also writing the Waxahatchee albums Cerulean Salt and Ivy Tripp. The original recordings have mostly faded into obscurity, but unearthing and reimagining them with producer Brad Cook at Justin Vernon's April Base studio in Wisconsin was a cathartic experience, she says. On the heels of last year's critically acclaimed Out in the Storm, Crutchfield found herself looking to take a sharp turn away from the more rock-oriented influences of her recent records towards her more folk and country roots.
