Salaputia Brass - Hungarian Pictures - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

With their new album InchChansons sans parolesInch, the young brass ensemble InchSalaputia BrassInch takes us through the history of French chanson and cuts the words off the chosen songs - in a very humble, homage-like manner, mind you. From the Renaissance madrigal to the present day, almost every era is represented. New arrangements specially tailored for the ensemble allow these works to be heard in a completely new tonal brilliance. The expressiveness of the wind instruments is impressive and demonstrates their closeness to the human voice. The members of the ensemble hold various solo positions in top German orchestras (Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, Gurzenich-Orchester Koln, Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg)

Dinner is the alias for Danish singer and producer Anders Rhedin. Since 2012, Dinner has released two EPs (Girl and You Are Like LA) and a guided meditation tape. This Fall, in collaboration with Texas tag Red Eye Transit, we will be releasing his latest effort Oui!, a four-track EP that serves as a powerful introduction to this idiosyncratic musician. Dinner's songs seem to be inspired by his own lifeInch in the lyrics you find references to cities, parties and girls (the latter sometimes referred to as the divine feminine). Dinner himself claims that All the songs are about death and transcendence.
