Needed a soundbar for my "old" 2016 Samsung 65" 4k TV that I moved to my bedroom. Room is roughly 14'x14'. TV speakers are horrid but did not want to spend a lot on a soundbar. This Samsung soundbar exceeds my expectations for celerity, thump (sub/bass) and volume it can kick out. Definitely fills the room and I can see it filling a much larger room. Sub placement is key for good bass, mine is about 2' from the corner of the room. I got it on sale for $130 and man, what a deal. Set-up was very easy. Love the little hidden screen in the middle so you know what is connected and volume level. Only complaint, my Samsung TV's "universal remote set-up" (via the TV) will not allow me to control the volume on the soundbar via the TV's remote when using the fiber optic output. It will work when I send the audio to the soundbar from the TV via Bluetooth, but I know optical is a better quality way to go. When connected via optical, the soundbar has the option to auto turn on - great feature but no TV remote control. Bluetooth doesn't allow auto turn on. So I have to pick one over the other. All in all, not a deal breaker for a soundbar under $130.

We love Samsung. We have two 50" TV's and the Soundbar 2.1 we just bought. We are very happy with it and it makes a BIG difference in our watching experience. It made us realize we didn't really have good sound at all before we purchased this. The price was right, the quality is excellent. I'd recommend Samsung products to anyone.

I wanted a wireless system with the option for additional speakers in the future. Prior to shopping I read reviews. Luckily discovered it was on sale when I shopped. Impressed with ease of setting up & sound quality. Still puzzled by it turning itself on at 3 or 4am!

I looked at several brands , including Bose , tried some out at the storefront , and finally narrowed my choice to this one. It works great, installed easily and took no effort when connecting it to my Samsung tv which recognized the sound bar on its own.

As I wanted to eliminate a wired speaker system, I had done some online research prior to shopping. I knew the age of my HDTV and had taken photo of connections along when I. Went to shop at BB. I'd also measured the available space. I am very pleased with the ease of setting the system up, the clarity of instructions, and the wall brackets were included should I decide to mount the sound bar. I'm happy with the quality for movie watching. Have yet to try Bluetooth connection or music.

I added this Samsung soundbar and subwoofer to the 32" Insignia tv in my garage and oh boy what an improvement. I also purchased the rear loud speakers and Yamaha outdoor speakers and was not disappointed.

It's a great bar for the money. Has a surround sound button but its. 2.1 so like I read before buying a sound bar, you're never gonna quite get the surround sound. The base kicks, movies I tested it with was full metal jacket, Apocalypse now and Pacific Rim Uprising. Over all it's a good bar. The blue tooth connection and audio it's not that great, I linked my spotify from my phone and it wasn't that great then again you can always stream from your tv. Compared to the Vizio they're equally loud. I would recommend it and like most ppl I tested and listened looked at CNet and all that and I'm happy with it.

Tv sound would drown out easily by background noise. This added depth to the sound. Installed in my dining area behind the bar and it works perfectly. We watch a lot of music videos off youtube and the music sounds much better with the help of the bass. For bigger areas I would recommend 300w. The 200w for my area under my 40" tv was exactly what was needed, nothing more.

If you never used a sound bar, you should buy and and use one. I view it as a compromise to a true surround sound system and the inexpensive price, ease of installation and versatility makes it a great addition of tech to the house.

I tried a Visio sound bar and the subwoofer had no control. The Samsung sound bar let’s you control the subwoofer level from the remote ( so can turn sub levels up and down ) and I liked the fact u can see what input ur on via the front of the sound bar. Is it better than having 5 speakers, receiver and a separate sub? No .. but it is clean, sounds 10000x better than tv speakers and only requires a power chord and optical cable to hook up !!! Overall I’m greatly satisfied and I’m super picky!

I used to be a middle of the road home theater person. I was all about the internet direct systems that were superior to their mainstream counterparts - think SVS (I still consider them ID), HSU, Rythmik, Powersound Audio compared to Klipsch, Polk, Etc., but then had a few children and couldn't really appreciate my setups anymore. Had to take a step down to nothing for a while, but could not take it. I needed more than a TV speaker to satisfy my needs, but needed something that was not overpowered as to not get back into the situation I was in. I decided to give this a try and am surprised at the output. Its not anywhere close to where I was, but I went in with very low expectations and am very pleased with what I got. I have it setup in a living room that's around 13' x 13' and has wood floors. I plopped the sub in a corner to help with output and though it leaves me with wanting more, there is a decent amount of output there that I was not expecting. My buddy has a Sony soundbar and I always thought the bass output could be summed up as "there are times when I think I feel something." With this system, it is there, but not so much so that I can't use it when the kids are sleeping. The sound from the bar itself is nice. The speakers seem clear and are plenty loud enough. The features are nice with the Bluetooth and volume control using my Comcast remote. Overall, I am happy with the purchase. For $150, it is a very nice upgrade to a TV and adds depth that you can't get with TV speakers alone. I think in the long run this will become a nice bedroom system, but I would still recommend this to anyone looking for an upgrade that will not break the bank.

I purchased this because I wanted a lower priced sound bar and I needed it to be not too wide in order to fit my space, it certainly meets those needs. It set up incredibly easy. The sound is fine. It works fine with my Directv remote. In short, it meets all my needs.

We just purchased a 2017 year Samsung HDTV and looking to for a sound bar to go with it. We chose this particular model because of the price, ability to easily pair with the TV, wireless subwoofer, a 2017 series Samsung soundbar, and being able to expand to wireless sound down the road. Setup was extremely easy: just plug the optical cable (included) to the TV and the power cable. In addition, plug in the power cable to the subwoofer. When turning on the TV, the 2017 series Samsung TV paired up with the sound bar automatically. The tv remote control can control the volume up/down with it. Additionally, the sound bar turns off after a period of time when the TV is off. Soundwise, it is very good. Great bass, and average mids/highs. Vocals are very clear and audible from the bar. Bluetooth wireless capability works perfect to play music from the phone to the soundbar. In addition, the unit looks great, built very well, and remote even matches the TV. (even though I don't use the remote much at all since the TV remote functions/controls the soundbar)
