We are really enjoying our new fridge so far. There’s so much it can do with technology that I’m sure we don’t even realize it all yet. We’ve used bixby often to check the weather or add to the shopping list and love playing music on it and using our doorbell. I like how we can make the dual zone whatever we want (freezer, wine, veggies, etc). I knew we were going to lose a bit of space with the counter depth size but we needed more room at the walkway, so we’re learning to deal with it. Can’t wait to learn more about this amazing piece of technology!

Great features! Didn’t know so many apps were available on a computer designed for your kitchen! Wait, and the ability to stream my game to the kitchen while I grab a snack or an (adult) beverage? Never miss a kickoff to see who’s at the door? Yes take my money. Oh wait you already did. Don’t forget to mention that it’s magnetic, but you can also post photos to wallpaper your kitchen with accomplishment, gold stars and A+’s!

This refrigerator is wonderful to look at and very convenient to have When you have an open concept. I love the features and there's plenty of Room for a family of 4, I had to return 3 before getting one that did not leak through the water dispenser. Other than that, I've had it now for more than a year & has not given me any issues. Reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because the freezer bins are very flimsy

Perfect !! Loved everything about the fridge ,specially now spacious and yet sleek it is.. one of the best things for me is when I’m in a hurry and I “think” I closed the door right it alerts me right away that it isn’t , it saved me A LOT of times. :)

Be aware of the trouble Samsung is having with their icemakers. I wasnt aware of this before buying this fridge. The convenience of the family hub does by no means make up for the drastic functional shortfall.

This fridge has it all, love listening to spotify Worship music while cooking. Leaving love notes using the drawing notepad. Calendar sync for family to know the day to day operations. Dual climate control for different items and do much more.

Making decision to purchase this refrigerator is a little difficult bec of the the review about the bad ice maker but I opt out for the great look... so far no problem it’s a good buy!

The fridge of my dreams became a nightmare. It has so many issues: alarm woke me up in the middle of the night. I wanted to use @YouTube @Facebook and @Twitter on the Smart screen but it never worked!!! and I have been dealing with Samsung for almost two years. First, they say they were going to exchange the fridge, then waited and waited until they had the guarantee expired, later said they were going to refund me my money and nothing had happened. Please think before buy one.

Is is amazing!!! I love it the fruits and vegetables do not get rotten fast like my last fridge and I absolutely love that you can watch YouTube tiktok and other stuff on the iPad I recommend this fried 1000000%

I had originally bought the much cheaper family hub but found out my kitchen wouldnt work for the bigger less expensive family hub. So ok the good the bad 1 way more expensive like i had said and less space than the cheaper one for some reason the ice maker wont keep up with our family the akg speak sounds great planning meals writing messages to the family everything the touch screen does is very helpful and just cool everyone that comes over points out that they like it overall a really good fridge the flex zone is really handy but if you have the space i personally would go with the 24 cubic ft family hub over the counter top french door that is more pricey and smaller but if you have no choice like i did and really want a family hub it seems like a pretty well built fridge

I'm going to make this fridge review short and sweet. I'm an IT Professional working in information security and my entire home is setup for home automation. I'm familiar with most "smart" products today and I absolutely despise Samsung Bixby, even before this purchase I had this opinion and this purchase only reinforced that opinion. In short, Bixby is awful. We tried playing with it "Bixby, tell me a joke" -- Bixby: "I can't do that yet" Even with the aforementioned apprehension I still purchased this fridge anyway for some of its other “smart” integrations and features. What I can tell you the apps on this tablet aren't kept up to date, the tablet performance is lackluster and most apps crash more often than they function. Got a Ring Doorbell? Expect issues, even if you POE the Elite Ring Doorbell the Ring app on the fridge tablet will cut out, break up, freeze, fail to "connect", etc. Love Pandora? Expect issues, like just randomly stopping playing the music for no reason or asking "are you still there?" and stopping the music play. There is no current method to root the tablet and no way to sideload apps either. At best I can report that this fridge does a good job of keeping the wife entertained with digital photos on the fridge. Samsung really screwed up disabling Alexa / Google Home support on this thing. As soon as I can root or sideload apps I'm planning on doing it. Would I buy it again? Probably because some stuff is "OK" at best and the wife is happy. However, I would caution that buying this fridge right now is like buying something still in Beta testing, I expect Samsung will fix it over time but as of August 30th, 2018. It's mostly junk for smart features....

Let’s start with this thing is a work of art. It looks beautiful. If you are ok with the idea that you need to caulk the ice maker to prevent it from icing up, then this is a great fridge. That hack is needed. You can only hear the fridge when it is making ice. Otherwise quiet. They just updated the Samsung app for apple. Syncs flawlessly now. Didn’t work at all before that.

The good: LOVE LOVE LOVE the 4-door design and the ability to choose fridge or freezer for the bottom right portion. The freezer is super easy to access with the swing-open door - no hunting through piles in a freezer drawer. Well lit interior, the water and ice dispenser work beautifully (knock on wood?) The door open alarm is great when you don't realize you haven't closed the door fully, which happens on most french-door fridges from time to time. The bad: The touch screen is more cool than functional in my opinion. I've had the fridge for about a month, and use only a couple of the features - the Tunein radio app, the Whiteboard app (I list my daily weight there, ouch!), and the sticky notes for dinner menus. Occasionally I use Amazon Prime Music app, or the internet to play long iTunes playlists. The speakers are quite good in my opinion and fill our large great room. Loved the idea of verbally telling Bixby to add things to a shopping list, but items like "Febreze carpet stain remover" or "whole wheat pita bread" get translated to 4 separate wrong items. Unless the item is specifically in her database, which apparently most of my items aren't, you won't get the right items. Also, to access and manage the list from my phone is clumsy, and I have a better app for that on my phone....so I don't use Bixby. I was looking forward to using the menu planning app, but again, it is very rigid and doesn't suit my needs - e.g. I want to type for the next few days "Tuesday dinner: baked halibut, steamed veg, rice" and delete days when passed. The app just displays days for the current calendar week so if it's Saturday good luck seeing tomorrow's menu. And again, whatever you enter, it tries to interpret according to its database. Not able to download your own apps to the fridge at this time. The ugly: Some might love the appearance of this unique fridge, and I love the overall lines including the screen, but the fact that the stainless front has slight curvature means that you get an odd warped reflective look - almost looks "cheap" in a home. All those review pictures showing curvy warped reflections are accurate. It doesn't look as "flat" as in the online picture. Also, it is not fingerprint proof, unless your fingers are CLEAN and DRY. So in the store, when I tried to make fingerprints, none. At home, when I am cooking, and reach for the fridge, any bit of moisture causes major fingerprints. So I wipe it all down once each day to control major grossness. Probably not a bad idea anyway. OVERALL: I feel foolish spending over $3k for a FRIDGE but would do it again. I love the overall look and function. I find the storage to be ample for my 6-member family. I do incorporate some bins to help organize, and I use that ridiculous skinny bin to store slices of American cheese. Nothing else fits, but I usually stock American cheese so I'm good.

I purchased this to replace my 12 yrs old 2 door refrigerator. It is super spacious and the features are so many. It cools super fast. First I was little doubtful about taking counter depth, about losing the space. But is it so spacious in a way it is built and quiet happy the refrigerator doesn't show outside other than the nice big LED screen. I purchased this when it was on sale $1000 Off checked Lowes , Home depot every where , no match for price.Every penny worth. As always best buy customer service excellent, they took my old fridge to garage, seamless installation. Highly recommend Samsung and Bestbuy!!!! Super Happy!!!!

Love, love, love. This beauty comes with two compressors. The top portion works like a normal fridge. The bottom can both be a freezer or one half for frozen and the other for wine and beverages, veggies and cheese. The built in tablet is nice, all the apps are cool. Plays music, you can see inside the fridge while at the store, displays the weather, write or speak to the shopping list, and more. The LED lighting is great and this thing is quiet. Super easy to change the water filter. The ice maker has been great. This unit claims to have fingerprint resistant stainless steel but the chrome on it is not.

This refrigerator is amazing!!! The touchscreen and features blow me away. All I have to do is say “hey bixby” and it can look up recipes, play pandora and the list goes on. The speaker on this thing will blow you away. It’s gets so loud you’d think it was coming from a home stereo system. It has cameras on the inside and there is an app you download to your phone that allows you to look to see what’s inside the fridge while your not home. Great purchase for the money!!!

This refrigerator is pretty cool! It has the family hub and half the freezer can be used as a fridge if necessary - I like that option. BUT, the refrigerator is NOT fingerprint resistant! Ugh, fingerprints all day, every day. Just be prepared to wipe it down several times a day.

My last refrigerator compressor lasted 3 years and the previous brand couldn't find a tech to service a R600A sealed system. This refrigerator has a 10yr compressor warranty and the desired R134A sealed system, I feel more comfortable with this purchase. This freezer setup has more organization than a french door freezer. I'm not fishing and moving the frozen corn to find what I am looking for. I utilized the flex compartment for kid drinks and lunch food. The refrigerator has a couple collapsible shelves to help with tall items. The door shelves hold the necessary items, without the extra space to keep expired salad dressings and an old glass container of green olives... The touch screen and speaker is a bit much in my opinion. I save websites on the home page to pull up and follow dinner recipes from a well known meal delivery prep company. It does make life easier than bringing a laptop into the kitchen. The stainless steel is finger print resistant, but the touch screen is defiantly not and sticks out when the screen shuts off. You will be cleaning it on a daily basis. I will admit I will not fully utilize the touch screen, but I feel Samsung is trying to fill up the screen with useless apps. Examples are Uber, home advisor, and checking your door bell camera. For what it's worth, I should have ordered the refrigerator without the touch screen option.
