Overall appearance is good. The specific stainless is very shiny / silvery where other stainless steel appliances I've had have a more grayish look to them. Top doors are very light. Lighting is good. Compressor is a little noisy on start up compared to other refrigerators I have had. Noise goes away after 10 seconds and settles out. Makes ice quickly. Ice cubes can fall out of the collection box and accumulate underneath the drawer still inside the freezer section. Typically this is a result of scoping ice and pushing the pile towards the back of the collection box. Plenty of storage and overall appearance is nice. Fit / finish could be a little better on the top bend of the freezer door. Fridge can be a very tight fit through entry doors. measure twice before purchasing as I brought it into my house on my own. Delivery to the inside of the house not an option.

By default the shelves are placed in such a way that nothing the height of a regular gallon or half gallon of milk will fit in the fridge unless you slide the sliding section of the one shelf back to make some extra room. It also would probably be worth upgrading to the model with the interior water dispenser. On the plus side it's relatively quiet, has lots of storage, makes a lot of ice and gets cold fast and stays quite cold.

Excellent refrigerator. Black stainless steel is an amazing finish. Samsung utizes space quite efficiently. The cooling system is superb. Runs quietly. Filtered water is conveniently placed inside the refrigerator without taking up space.

First, love Best Buy! Product is good to a point, but the day before our service contract was to expire, the Part fort the freezer handle broke. Notified Best Buy, they said warranty starts on the day delivered so come on in the next day and they'd take care of it. Easy fix, right? Wrong. Manager said let's call Samsung and see what they want to do. Samsung said no, warranty started on the day purchased. Best Buy said no, Samsung said no we are not going to honor it. Best Buy orders handled, now we have handle and catching hell trying to get the parts tonattach it. All of our appliances are Samsung, but you'd better believe that when the time comes to replace them, unless it's an act of God, i will not buy another Samsung product. Love Best Buy though! Would recommend Best Buy, but not Samsung!

We didn't want a fancy refrigerator, but something that hopefully will last a long time. We don't have much need for a freezer. The ice maker dumps the ice into a big box in the freezer which is perfect for us. The few items we do freeze have a top and bottom space in the freezer. The bottom space is tall, so we can place our beer glasses standing up so they are nice and cold when we have a beer. Also the top drawer of the freezer is NOT a basket, but a drawer so things won't fall through. I love having a full refrigerator space on the top. Had a side by side before and hated the width. Now with a full width I can use my big Tupperware box which keeps lettuces fresh for day. The door storage seems to keep the milk cold enough and the bottom storage drawers let you see what is inside. To get things from the left side, you have to open both doors and the left door must be closed first - small detail. And it runs very quietly - so if it doesn't have any mechanical problems in the next 25 years, then I will be very happy. Time will tell.
