It's not possible to show how amazing this 3D monitor is so I can only talk about it. Imagine the 3DS with a 27" screen but it's better because the cameras that scan your eyes in real-time relay where the two different frames should be. You have a much wider range of view than with the 3DS. Now, the 3d works best with 3d content but Samsung has a trick up their sleeves and that is with reality hub and realtime a.i that will get better over time. Yes, you can get Youtube 2d videos to run in 3d! It's a little confusing how to enable it but turn off reality hub, then full screen size the video. You then get a pop up to select 2d video as the source. That's what you will want to pick. As for the IPS monitor: before Oled, IPS was the best. The dark values and contrast are just a few stops away from Oled. I have multiple LG C series tvs and a few alienware oled monitors so I would know. It's not that far behind Oled quality. What im excited about: the tech should continue to get better. It's amazing now. What im not excited about: the cost. It's $2k. Granted currently there is a $300 GC samsung or BB are offering with this purchase. I used the 300 towards pre-ordering the Switch2. What makes me sad: many folks won't be able to experience this because of the cost and you will need hefty hardware to run it. I have a 5090. Yoy must have a 3080 or later. What gives me hope: this tech catches fire and BB and Samsung puts this monitor on display for consumers to experience in stores. Over time, the next gen will get cheaper and more people will get to experience 3D from the comfort of their homes. Ive already packed up my previous monitor which was athe "32 alienware 4k, 240hz oled monitor. When not running in 3d, this is a 4k 165hz hdr monitor. That's how much I love this thing.

You have to see this in person. I can't wait for a 45 inch OLED ultrawide version. $2000 definitely makes this device a luxury item but if you have the means to buy this, do it!

When I got the 3D to work it was quite good it didn't like being plugged in at the same time as my LG G4 once I figured that out the 3D worked great unfortunately I got a dead pixel very close to my return window will probably buy another.
