A: The clock does not stay on all the time. When you are baking, the info screen remains lit with cooking information. There is an issue with the latest Samsung firmware which breaks the WiFi capability of this oven. No monitoring or adjusting the temperature with your phone, etc. Samsung has been less than helpful. If you are purchasing it for the smart features look elsewhere.
Q: can this oven use LP or natural gas with the correction conversion kit?
A: No, this model is electric.
A: It comes with bare copper cables that you wire into your electrical receptacle with wire nuts. I suppose you could wire it to a plug but you'd be in control of both the male and female side. I think 30A should be fine
Q: can the clock be changed from analog to digital?
A: yes it has 3 or 4 choices for both analog and digital. it puts the date on there as well so it makes it even more useful
Q: What size opening does this double oven require in the cabinetry? Width x height x depth.
A: Samsung.com indicates the cut out as 28-1/2" W x 50-1/4" H x 23-1/2" D.
Q: Does the black stainless steel finish scratch easily?
A: We have only had our new appliances for a month or so but it seems very durable and easy to keep clean.
A: Look at the documents on BestBuy product page, it lists the cut out dimensions. For me, it needed around a half an inch bigger than the existing hole so I had to cut it a little bigger on the top side.
Q: How does thermometer work that came with ovens?
A: Great!
