C port charging makes it extremely convenient. With just one cable, I can connect my laptop, display the screen, and charge at the same time, which keeps my desk much cleaner. The 4K resolution is very sharp, and the 32-inch screen gives plenty of space to work with multiple windows, which really improves productivity. I also like the smart monitor features — I can use apps like Netflix and YouTube without even turning on my PC, which is more useful than I expected for casual viewing. The built-in speakers are decent for everyday use, so I don’t feel the need for external speakers. Overall, it’s a great all-in-one monitor that works well for both productivity and entertainment.

For the price, it's hard to argue it has any faults. I will likely be using this monitor until it burns out, as it has an incredible amount of features. As a dedicated PC monitor, it feels a bit bloated, and at some point I will replace it with a dedicated monitor, with this one becoming a Garage, Kictchen, or Bedroom TV. It has built in streaming services, which is nice if I wanted it somewhere where I couldn't easily attatch a PC to it. I has USB C display port alt mode, which means if you have a laptop that supports Display Port over USB C you could just plug it into the monitor and have it act as a dock. The features go well beyond that, and because of it's age, the price is very attractive. It is NOT a gaming monitor, it is limited to 60 Hz refresh rate, but I didn't buy it for that. I simply needed a cheap, 4k, 32" monitor for work. It excels in that category. Though I probably would have liked it to be less feature bloated for that goal.

I purchased the Samsung 32" M70F Smart Monitor for use as a miscellaneous monitor for use in various rooms around the house. Overall, the monitor is great for what it is and works as advertised. The biggest downside I have is that there are no height or swivel capability - this is reserved for the M80F.

This monitor/tv is awesome! Samsung always makes the best tvs and they did not fail in this model. It’s for my office so doesn’t need to be a huge screen. I use the tv for my walking on the under desk treadmill I have. Picture is perfectly clear and it never has startup issues. Very happy with this purchase.

Nice picture, variety of inputs. Mostly used as a computer monitor.

Short version: For anyone that doesn't mind the Samsung account and will not be using the monitor in a dual display situation, it is a nice monitor with its 4K resolution. Recommended for that situation. Full review: This monitor was not what I had hoped. My application was for a second monitor in an amateur (ham) radio station. The monitor exhibited behaviors that I have never seen in 25 years of corporate IT work. It kept me from moving windows around as I wanted and kept bringing pop-up screens that are part of the ham radio software back to it even though I continually moved them to the desired location before closing. The setup was intrusive, requiring a Samsung account that allows Samsung to see all Internet use of the monitor and its apps. It is recommended to plug a keyboard and mouse into the monitor for setup. Leaving a mouse connected makes operation easier. I already have three mice on my desktop for the radio and two other computers, so I did not want a fourth one. Essentially, the account is spyware. I could not make the brightness, color balance and contrast come close to matching that of my other name brand monitor. I would only use it in a dual monitor setup if both monitors were this model.

Thank you for your review and for sharing your concerns. A Samsung Account is required to access Smart Hub, which powers the core smart features of your Monitor - including app access (like Netflix and YouTube), service updates, and content personalization.
Without signing in and accepting the Terms and Conditions, your Monitor will function in a basic mode - supporting external devices (such as HDMI and over-the-air antenna), but streaming apps and Smart Hub services will be unavailable.
We understand this requirement may not be ideal for all users, but it’s necessary for full access to Samsung’s smart features and connected services.
If you need assistance creating or logging into a Samsung Account, we’re here to help. Please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG between 8AM - 9PM EST Monday - Friday, and 8AM - 6PM Saturday and Sunday. I really wanted to like this monitor, but in the end, I returned it. First off, I'm a Samsung TV fanboy; we have a lot of them around the house. My 2014 Samsung 32" FHD home-office TV started acting up, with a frame rate of 5 seconds per frame and noticeable ghosting. Given the limited space and home-office layout, I was stuck with a 32" screen, which narrowed my options. I only watch streaming services, and use a Fire TV Stick on 2014 TV I saw this on sale, and being a 4 K smart monitor, I thought this would be a great option. It arrived the next day, very light and easy to mount. This only had Wifi and no LAN option, but I was ok with that. The setup was pretty straightforward, except for one thing: you are forced to enter a PIN. I'm the only one who uses the TV, and I wanted to skip, but it won't let me. The TV is crisp, sharp, and responsive; however, two things that I didn't like were passable, but not for me. The sound is thin and weak, with hardly any bass, and it sounds like it's coming from a tin can. Easy fix, add a sound bar. This would not be an issue using it as a monitor, as the sound would come from the computer, but in smart TV mode, it lacked any substance. I didn't want to pay extra for a soundbar, mainly because it's more about the office layout than anything else. Secondly, although the picture was 4k, it had a muted look; the colors were saturated but in this odd muted way. Imagine a modern-day spy thriller set in Cold War Russia, a crisp, sharp, saturated picture, but sort of pastel muted. It's a great monitor, but for my needs, I wanted something better. I ended up returning and replacing it with the Samsung 32" Q8F. 200 more, but worth it for me, much better sound and much better screen

Excellent TV. Bought a PS5, and the day I tried it, the old TV died. I went online to Best Buy and found this TV because I have a narrow shelf the TV sits on, and this one sits on only one leg. It was perfect. I got it fast and it's been perfect. Great picture, quality feel, and couldn't be happier. Really happy with my TV and the way Best Buy handled it and got it to me ASAP.

Great product for my situation! I produce music in the mancave, game, and like to unwind and watch television. One device giving me access to what I need makes my space alot cleaner looking.

Gaming Monitor and TV. 4k display has improved the visuals for the gaming PC it is Hooked up to. Smart TV streaming was easy to setup. Although not sure why we need to create a Samsung account to stream Netflix!

So far so good. Enjoying the real estate of being able to have 4 programs on screen all at the same time in 4k.

The Samsung M70F is less of a “pure monitor” and more of a hybrid entertainment + productivity screen.

The monitor works as advertised. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars as it does much more than just a monitor and will take a little time to fully utilize it.
