Amazing color and immersive curve bring you into the game. This display was exactly what I was looking for at the price I wanted to spend. There are quite a few people saying that it isn’t as good as an OLED…. That's because it isn’t an OLED. It also is no where near as expensive as one. The Samsung holds its own with bright vibrant colors and great viewing angles for the user. There were a few people mentioning that it falls short because if you are looking at it from an angle it looks washed out and bland. I'm not sure why would would lean 8-12" to the side while playing a game to get a different view of your screen… but to each his own, I guess =) The generous curve keeps the washed out angle to a non-existent level. The VRR Sync keeps screen tearing gone. I had nothing but positive results when playing. 180 Hz refresh keeps everything smooth onscreen HDR10+ 600 looks great Crazy fast response time (1ms) I can't praise this display enough I can't speak of the stand as I have my display mounted on the wall above my desk.

I’d been waiting for a panel that could legitimately replace my dual AW3821DW setup without sacrificing horizontal workspace or pixel density. This display finally checks those boxes. The 5K2K resolution is a meaningful upgrade over the 3840×1600 Alienwares. Text rendering is noticeably cleaner, UI scaling behaves better, and the extra pixels and size make a real difference for code, timelines, and multi‑window workflows. Color uniformity, contrast stability, and motion handling are all excellent for a VA panel at this size and curvature. The 180Hz refresh rate paired with low response times keeps latency tight, and the pixel structure is crisp enough that fine‑detail work doesn’t suffer. The only drawbacks are the narrower viewing angles inherent to VA technology and a slightly lower peak brightness compared to top‑tier HDR monitors. Neither is a deal‑breaker, but they’re worth noting if you work off‑axis or in a very bright room. Overall, it’s a substantial technical upgrade and finally lets me consolidate back to a single ultrawide without compromise.

Pros: -Brightness -5k2k Resolution -HDR 600 Cons: -In Bright rooms, Image can be muted some Monitor: First off, this monitor is very large and has a semi aggressive curve at a 1000R curve but not as extreme as the 800r curves on the market. The new Samsung 40” G75F WUHD brings a unique offering to the table as it gives a 5,120x2,160 (5k2k) visual in a 21:9 aspect ratio. Wrapped up in a VA LCD panel with 1ms GTG. I have a Samsung 49” VA panel on my Racing Sim Rig and a 34” Samsung G8 OLED for my desktop to compare this monitor to. In my testing in COD, Destiny 2 and WoW this monitor produced some very beautiful graphics. I had to tweak the picture settings a little bit on the monitor, then activated the 10-bit color depth along with HDR 600nits. The image just popped and was so vibrant and HDR looking excellent. In Destiny 2 at this resolution at max settings with an Asus Astral 5080 GPU OC and I was able to achieve 120 FPS consistently and hit 180 around 80% of the time. In COD I maintain my max FPS as well, just some moments during transitions of resource loading caused it to drop. User experience will differ just remember this is a lot more pixels to push than a standard 4K monitor and a 1440p Ultrawide monitor. The 1ms GTG is the industry norm, but 2025 models are seeing .03ms but honestly, it’s not noticeable to my eye. Coming from Samsung's first gen Ultrawide G8 OLED I was impressed by how this VA panel produced colors and kept a uniform and colorful picture. I play mostly in a dark room which allows the richness of colors to shine, but when I turned on the light, well the image kind of lost some luster. Additionally, in dark scenes you could see some light bleeding through on the edges making the black uniformity a little off the mark, but nothing that detracts from the experience. The viewing angle on VA panels often has some drawbacks and this one has some once you get to look at it sideways, but once you are in front of it, I didn’t get a sense of view angle degradation. Connectivity: This Monitor comes with 1- DisplayPort 1.4 interface and 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. Additionally, it includes headphone input, and 2- USB-A 5Gbps downstream ports for your accessories. There are no internal speakers so note this if you’re not using a gaming headset or have a dedicated speaker system. It wasn’t that big of a miss for me as I used dedicated headphones and speaker system. Aspects: The monitor comes with RGB on the back side that can be synced with your content that is occurring on screen. This includes other options to make it do different modes of movement rainbow colors, one solid color and even the pulsing colors. Using this monitor for over 10 hours straight gaming, it got very warm and produced a lot of heat from it. So, id suggest having some room for ventilation. Overall: This monitor hits all the marks I would want in a gaming monitor, it has high level of immersion with its high fidelity of visuals and curvature. The resolution is mind blowing when you have the GPU to max settings and out take advantage of this massive screen. I would recommend this to any gamer who is looking to elevate their gaming experience to the next level!

The screen is beautiful and plays all of my games very well

Pros: 4K resolution Size, especially height Easy assemble Games look beautiful Cons: Viewing angle HDR is a little weak Settings buttons are difficult to use Assembly: The assembly was easy even with the instructions that are only pictures. You basically have a stand in two pieces which you must assemble and attach to the monitor face down in the box. Stand it straight up and attach a panel to the back to hide all the hardware. Very simple. The stand is large so make sure you have enough space on your desk for it. It also moves and angles in all directions. Size and Resolution: This monitor has the perfect size and resolution for your gaming and productivity work. I tried different Call of Duty and Forza games, and they did look beautiful. I had a UWQHD monitor before this and while this monitor is not as wide, it is taller and is 4K which honestly makes everything clearer. It is also compatible with all the games I have tried unlike the ultrawide monitor which some games, especially older ones, didn’t work with the ultra-wide resolution. It also appears to have a big curvature unlike other curved monitors I have seen, but this may be just an illusion. Video Quality: The colors on the monitor are vibrant and a pleasure to look at, especially with modern AAA games. The frame rate works perfectly with my nVidia 4070 Ti Super even though it is lower at 180Hz than a lot of other gaming monitors. I saw no stuttering and especially no screen tearing. This does have FreeSync which a assume helps that, and it does work well. I found that even though the colors look good normally, I saw a little improvement when enabling HDR, but it made a much more noticeable difference on my older monitor. The only real change I noticed is that the screen got a little brighter. The black levels look good although you can see a tiny bit of bleed through if you are really looking out for it. Under normal use, you wouldn’t even notice it. The brightness and contrast is are about average. Now all that being said, the viewing angle is absolutely terrible, the worst I have probably seen. If you are sitting right in front of it, with its curvature, it is fine. If you have someone off to the side looking at it, forget about it. Connections: Now this is one of my favorite parts of this monitor. All the connections are straight out the back making it very easy to plug and unplug cables and find the right connections. I find that on most monitors that have an indentation where the connections are, cables are hard to plug and unplug them, especially if the monitor is in place and you are trying to find the connections with a flashlight. I am so happy this isn’t the case here. It has 1 DP 1.4, 2 HDMI 2.1, USB-A, and headphone. All work as expected and should be enough for what you need. You can always buy an external switchbox if you need more connections. Now the sound is interesting. Even though it doesn’t have any speakers, the computer’s sound device will automatically switch to it even though you won’t hear anything. You must manually switch it to another sound device. This is not obvious or expected when the sound stops working. I assume it has something to do with the headphone connection, which I don’t even understand its purpose. There is an external power brick that I would call medium in size that has a connection to it. It comes with an HDMI and DP cables, however both are very short so you may have to buy longer ones. Fortunately, I had longer ones in my cable collection that everyone probably has. Standby: When the input connection is lost it will go on standby and only after a few seconds. When the input connection is restored, it comes on fairly quickly. When it comes on, there is no text or boxes temporarily obscuring the image. My old monitor has several dialog boxes that explained how to use the monitor when it came out of standby every time, and there was no way I knew of to turn that off. Controls and Settings: The main control is a center directional control, surrounded by directional buttons. Despite being in the middle of the monitor and laid out this way, I find it hard to find the various buttons. To power on the unit, press the center control. To power it off, it is in a menu option; there is no power button for it. Pressing the center control brings up the menu. From this menu, you can select to bring up other menus, select input, eye saver mode, and power off. The menus are very nicely laid out and logical. Strangely, the setting for auto detecting the input is defaulted off which means the first time I used it, I had to select the input. It is a little pricy but that is probably what you are paying for. The image quality is really good, but the viewing angle is terrible so something to consider if that is important to you. The menus provide enough to tinker with, but not too much to make things confusing. The connection positions on the back are excellent. I’d say if you can afford it, it is a go.

The Samsung G75F features a 40" 1000R curved screen which enhances games to be more immersive, at the expense of some space. The depth of the monitor when you include the stands requires 12” of space on your desk. The stand itself is height adjustable and the monitor tilts and swivels. The base of the stand is a massive flat piece of metal that securely keeps the monitor in place. Around the back you have 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4, a headphone jack, the power port, and a built-in USB-A hub that supports USB 3.2 Gen. It includes an external 140w power brick. It also includes an HDMI cable, DisplayPort cable, and USB upstream cable for the hub. If it fits on your desk, this is the most immersive experience short of using a VR headset. The native resolution is 5120x2160 pixels, or 5K2K. It's basically a 4K monitor but with extra horizontal pixels to make it the common 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratio. Some may look at the refresh rate of the monitor and balk that it's not higher than 180hz but at this resolution you need a serious gaming rig to get high framerates on graphically demanding games at the highest of settings. There are 3.7 million additional pixels to generate than on a 4K monitor. I’m using a desktop RTX 5090 and I’m seeing around 100-125FPS in games like Fortnite and Doom: The Dark Ages at maxed-out settings. Older games like Rocket League will easily hit 200 and higher though. The 1ms GtG response time isn’t the fastest on the market but it’s fast enough that I did not notice any issues with ghosting or motion blur when gaming. I typically play on a Samsung super-ultrawide OLED monitor with a subtler curve and what I noticed immediately was how much more immersive the G75F is with the deeper curvature. Games run smoothly and while the monitor only claims to cover 90% of the DCI color gamut, I thought colors were accurate and bright, even more bright than my OLED, especially in HDR. However, without OLED, my inky blacks are no more. But this monitor has what I would say are the best blacks I’ve seen on this type of panel. The local dimming does a good job of minimizing backlight bleed. Text is very crisp for productivity work, and it has a matte coating that minimizes reflections making it ideal for use in bright environments. You also don’t have to worry about pixel maintenance or burn-in issues. VA panels are notorious for poor viewing angles and this monitor is no exception, as when looked at from extreme angles things get washed out quickly. However, in normal use, you are always looking “straight on” at the screen due to the curve which gives you a uniform picture no matter where your eyes are focused. There is RGB lighting on the back of the monitor that can be synced with the content the monitor is displaying. I didn’t find it to be that impressive as it’s not that bright and takes about a half a second to sync when the content on the screen changes. You can also choose other RGB lighting options such as breathing, rainbow, or static colors through the on-screen menu. Pros: - 5K2K Resolution (5120 x 2160) - Stand is height, swivel, and tilt adjustable - 180Hz refresh rate - HDR10+ support with DisplayHDR 600 certification - Immersive Curved Display - VRR (AMD FreeSync Premium Pro) - Side-by-Side Split Screen Support - RGB Lighting - Wall mountable (100x100) Cons: - Not OLED - No G-Sync Overall – this is an excellent gaming monitor if you have the hardware needed to run games at full resolution. While it doesn’t have the deep blacks and vibrant colors of an OLED panel it makes up for it with brightness, crisp text, an aggressive curve, and a more affordable price.

Very well packaged. Easy to set up. Easy to navigate settings. Has a ton of features. Excellent display quality. Got it on sale as well. No complaints so far.

I had been thinking about upgrading my 32" flat monitor for a while, but I had been putting it off because of the limited space I have at my workstation (used for both work and gaming). My main concern with regard to monitors at this workstation has always been the width, and even though this monitor has 40" of display, the actual width is a little shy of 37", so I decided to give it a try... and I'm glad I did. Although it does take up quite a bit more desk space depth-wise, I'm still able to use that space quit effectively since I have the monitor raised to its highest point which results in the bottom of the unit being about 7" above the desk, so the desk underneath the monitor can still be used for paperwork, etc. Assembly and setup of the monitor took maybe 15 minutes. I'm only using the 2 HDMI ports, one connected to a KWM switch for work (2 laptops), and the other connected to my gaming machine (4090), but there's also a DisplayPort and USB connections if you need them. One thing that kind of bummed me out is the lack of speakers, although there is a headphone jack. However, to be honest, if you're going that route, you could just plug straight into your machine. Another thing I don't fully enjoy is the buttons used to access the controls; a single button on the bottom of the unit, with 4 buttons surrounding it. It works perfectly well, but it just seems a bit inefficient; for instance, it takes 3 key presses just to turn the monitor off. A minor issue, but still. The menus allow quite a bit of control over the monitor, including PiP, which I've found useful when gaming while wanting to watch the progress of a process at work without switching back and forth. The 1000R curved display is impressive to say the least; it seems to envelope you when you sit infront of it; going from a flat screen to this was quite the difference. The unit allows either WUHD (5,120 x 2,160) in 21:9 aspect ratio or 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) in 16:9 aspect ratio. For work, this monitor is incredible; I have TONS of screen space even without a second monitor and the text is clear and crisp. For gaming, the monitor is absolutely stunning. The refresh rate and response time, combined with the HDR10+ support, makes gaming smooth and vibrant, and the 1000R curve caps it off with an unmatched immersive quality; everything is right there infront of me. Overall, I think this monitor is an absolute winner. There are a few nit-picky things I've mentioned, but those in no way dampen my endorsement of this monitor. It is a bit pricy, but if you're in the market for a high-end display, I don't think you could go wrong with selecting this one.

The Samsung - 40" Odyssey G75F WUHD 180Hz 1ms AMD FreeSync Premium Pro Curved Gaming Monitor with HDR 600 is a great, immersive gaming monitor thanks to its 1000R curve and brilliant colors. It has a proper 5K-2K resolution that makes it the perfect 21:9 aspect ratio for modern games, productivity apps and media consumption. The images are that much crisper with two times the pixels covering the same area. This makes it an excellent choice for both gaming and productivity as the text looks really sharp on the Odyssey G75F. As for its intended gaming purpose, this G75F shines. With its 1ms fast response time, and fast 180 Hz refresh rate, it’s great for my driving games and all other fast pace action. There is no NVidia G-Sync compatibility but that doesn’t seem to matter with my modest gaming rig’s RTX4070. Sometimes if there is any screen refresh delay, ghosting or out of sync frames, it can cause some people the equivalent of “motion sickness”. That hasn’t happened with this Odyssey G75F. Additionally, much like other Samsung LED displays, the colors are vibrant, contrast and brightness are high and there are plenty of preset and custom adjustments you can pick from. It also supports HDR10+ with DisplayHDR 600 certification. Moreover there is a dedicated gaming menu with additional settings. One feature I truly appreciate is the Picture by Picture and Picture in Picture capability of this monitor. You could easily use the PBP split screen to maximize your game play with friends while playing a game on half the screen or use PIP to view chats on game tips from a different source, or keep an eye on what’s going on your work laptop. Last but not least, the Odyssey G75F has an ergonomic stand with Height Adjustment in addition to Tilt and Swivel/Pivot options and if you need to mount it on a wall it also has the standard 100mm VESA mounting capability. The connectivity options are just right with 1 x DisplayPort 1.4, 2 x HDMI 2.1 and funky USB-A port, as well as a headphone jack that picks up the sound signal from your HDMI or DP input, so you can connect your favorite gaming headset directly to the monitor. Samsung includes HDMI, DP and USB cables and of course 24 VDC power brick which is not that big, considering it has to power lots of pixels in this massive 40” 5120x2160 display. All in all, I would recommend this monitor to any serious gamer with a well equipped PC that can drive this 5K2K resolution at maximum game settings. It is more affordable than similar OLED displays and well worth it when on-sale.

Got this monitor just in time for Borderlands 4 and I am loving it. The 40” curved ultrawide size is perfectly large without being overwhelming. I don’t have to turn my head to see what’s happening at each corner and the curved edges of the screen are just wide enough to feel enveloping. It’s an absolute treat when you’re in the sweet spot, especially when playing 4K HDR content, but the VA panel gives it one inherent weakness. The 40” G75 has a narrow viewing angle. If you’re sitting perfectly centered it’s fantastic, but slide 2’ to the left or right and the vibrant colors already begin to look washed out. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not major like it’s unwatchable but you’re definitely not getting the best view unless you’re centered with the screen. If you intend to frequently use this monitor for more than groups of 2, I’d maybe look into a flat VA, IPS, or OLED panel. But if it’s mainly 1 person using this monitor at a time, let me tell you.. it’s sweet. Borderlands 4 is bright and colorful. I love the extra horizontal real estate from the ultrawide screen, which is also appreciated in Forza Motorsports. I do wish the viewing angles were wider, but I can live with it. The curved experience is pretty neat, but a mild effect overall. I love the curve when playing games and watching movies, but graphic design and photo editing are better on flat screens where the proportions will be more accurate. The only major issue I have with this monitor is how badly it makes me want to upgrade my GPU for 4k gaming. Samsung’s latest line of Odyssey gaming monitors utilizes and maximizes the latest technology in displays built for hardcore gamers like me. I replaced my 37” 165Hz bendable OLED monitor with the Odyssey G75F WUHD 40” curved monitor upgrading to newer, better technology and a larger display. Out of the box, the monitor was relatively simple to set up, similar to most other monitor setups and includes all the cables needed for any setup including a HDMI cable, DisplayPort cable, USB Type-C cable and 59” power cable. The monitor is fairly heavy, weighing almost 25 pounds on the base, and large, measuring 16.6” high without the stand, 36.6” wide and 12” deep with the stand, so be careful while you are mounting it to the stand post. The G75 is equipped with a VESA certified 5120x2160 resolution HDR600 21:9 aspect ratio display has deep blacks, bright whites and a brilliant 16.7 million color palette thanks to CoreSync and CoreLighting+ technology. Pairing this display with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, a 180Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time brings gaming to life reducing studder and screen lag making gaming ultra-smooth. One cool feature, although I’m not sure whether I would ever use it, is its ability to simultaneously use two inputs for split screen, picture-by-picture where you could have a game running on one side of the screen and a video playing off a separate device on the other. The rear ports include two USB Type-A Downstream ports, one USB Type-B Upstream port, a headphone output, two HDMI inputs, a DisplayPort input and the power source plug-in giving you a variety of options great for any setup. As you would expect from newer monitors, it has an auto source switch that can detect when devices are turned on/off without having to switch inputs. Unlike my previous monitor, you can adjust the height and tilt of the monitor to make your gaming more ergonomically sound. And, as with most gaming peripherals today, you can customize the RGB lighting circle on the back of the display. After gaming on the 40” Odyssey G75 for hours, somehow I felt more immersed in the action. Perhaps it is because it is something shiny and new but I believe it has more to do with its smooth, buttery graphic display and technology packed within. Perhaps its because there is way less glare on this display than the shiny OLED display I replaced with this one. For those who have used curved displays, you know reflections seem to be amplified because of their ability to capture more around what’s behind you; somehow, that’s not the case with this display. The display just felt and looked softer, smoother yet still bright and vibrant. To be honest, I wasn’t sure whether I would stick with the G75 after setting it up because of its size, however, I am now fully invested in Samsung’s latest technology innovation and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a high-end display upgrade from a highly reputable company who has set itself as an industry leader in gaming displays.

I was looking to upgrade my home office setup to a larger display and got Samsung - 40" Odyssey G75F monitor. It came with a monitor, Power Cable, HDMI Cable, USB Type-C Cable and Power Adapter. Setup took less than 10 mins to assemble the monitor with the stand. This monitor has WUHD resolution of 5120 x 2160 with 1000R curved display. The ultrawide 21:9 screen offers a wide view than UHD monitor. With VESA DisplayHDR 600, it delivers more contracts with deeper blacks and brighter whites. In the backside of the monitor, there are two HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 Display Port 1.4, headphone jack, Power Port and UBS 3.2 Port.  The G75F features a sturdy, minimalistic design with a slim profile, even though it’s a massive 40-inch display. The stand is ergonomically designed with height, tilt, and swivel adjustability, making it easy to find a comfortable viewing position. The stand is fairly robust and does not wobble, even with the large screen size. I am using this monitor for office work, and it increased my work efficiency by allowing multiple applications to be displayed on the screen without switching back and forth between applications. The screen resolution is great, and it worked without any issues while connecting with MacBook pro. I played various games and there was no lag or choppiness due to 180Hz Refresh rate and 1ms response time. This monitor comes with RGB on the back side which can be synced with the content on the screen and more modes like rainbow colors, one solid color and even the pulsing colors can be configured as well. With auto source switch+, the monitor automatically detects the turned-on devices and instantly switches to the new source signal. The Picture in the picture is another nice feature that allows connecting another device same time. I was using this feature more often to watch games while working. There are many settings that can be configured by pressing the menu button under the monitor. There are various menu options under Game, Picture, PIP, OnScreen Display, System, and Support. The screen brightness, color, eyecare, refresh rate, and picture mode can be changed based on user preference.  The Samsung Odyssey G75F 40" WUHD is a powerhouse ultra-wide monitor that excels in both gaming and productivity. It offers high refresh rates, smooth performance, and extensive screen real estate, making it a great choice for gamers, streamers and power users. The immersive experience provided by the 1000R curve is compelling, and the 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time will satisfy even the most competitive gamers.

I'm replacing a Samsung 34” curved OLED monitor with this 40” Odyssey. Between the two, the 40” has a much more dramatic curve to it. Given it's size (width), it actually works well. It does take a little getting used to, and I'm no stranger to curved displays. I use a 48” curved monitor at work all day so this isn't new to me and this curve actually works well for my home office workspace. I've always used an after market desk mounted monitor arm. I find I can push the monitor back further this way rather than using the included stand, which would put the monitor in several inches from the back of my desk, which doesn't work well for my setup and brings the monitor way to close. The G75F does allow you to use a desk or wall mount arm and offers VESA 75 or VESA 100 mounting options. While you can certainly use an arm like this, the included trim ring will only work with the included Samsung stand. Not a deal breaker but very disappointing as I have the back of my desk facing into the room. I loosely fit the trim ring in place which works ok, but they clearly don't provide any alternative trim ring options to finish off your look. Given that my previous monitor was an OLED, I was used to very rich, clear colors. The G75F does produce some pretty good colors and after monkeying around with all the settings, I was able to achieve some really decent results. Very close to what I experienced with my 34”. The display is quite clear, but take the time to go through all the different mode settings in the monitor menu to get the one that looks best for you. I have an NVIDIA RTX 3080 graphics card, and I chose the “Graphic” mode. That seemed to work the best for me. After getting everything tweaked to my liking, I found that my games looked really good. My go to game lately is Doom The Dark Ages. It has tons of great light and dark chapters that really let a monitor shine in terms of shadows and contrast, not to mention color depth. The G75F performed really well with FreeSync Premium Pro enabled and HDR. The monitor was able to keep up with the Gameplay and I didn't notice any tearing or unreasonable blurring. The graphics looked quite good and the screen curve offered a realistic view of the action without turning my head more than slightly. It offered a really good gaming experience. The adjustment buttons on most monitors I've used are at best, quasi-intuitive. Most of them leave you guessing how to change options and save what you've selected. The G75F really shines here. The center bottom placement of the menu input select control doesn't leave you hanging, and when you use the up, down left or right keys, it actually shows you what each one does, removing the guesswork. It goes one step further by showing a brief explanation of the menu options as you cycle through them. This is great. So many times name brand companies just assume you're familiar with all their quirky little buzz words but leave you wondering what changing a setting will actually do. This is truly something that I've seen Samsung struggle with in the past and it's nice to see this emphasis on the user interface for a change. The input ports are just what's needed, offering you 2-HDMI 2.1 ports, a Display Port 1.4, 2-USB-A ports and a headphone jack. Audio speakers are thankfully omitted, which didn't however, prevent Windows from wanting to set the monitor up as the sound source (presumably the headphone jack). This became annoying so I just removed the monitor as a sound source altogether from the sound options setup screen. Overall, this is a nice monitor. The size is perfect for my home setup, and the curved design makes games feel very immersive. I will say that the farther off center you view it from, the colors do start to wash out quite a bit. This may be inherent with a curved monitor, but I don't really notice it with my monitor at work or my 34” curved, at least not as much. I do like the fact that the G75F doesn't try to do anything but be a good monitor. By that I mean there's no “smart” features like streaming channels or wanting to be your music streamer. It's happy just being your trusty monitor and that's all. If you're looking for a monitor this size, it's a display that won't break the bank while still offering the important options a lot of people look for.

The curved 40 inches of screen real estate just envelopes you and pulls you into whatever content that you’re consuming. I replaced my previous flat monitor with this one and I am never going to back to a flat display again. On the back of the monitor for display connections you have 1 display port and 2 HDMI 2.1 ports. Also on the back of the monitor there is RGB lights that you can sync with your games which I thought was pretty cool. Build quality in my opinion is excellent. The Samsung Odyssey G75F comes with a beefy monitor stand that is heavy duty metal which I appreciate which makes it feel solid on my desktop with no wobble. Some other nice features that this monitor includes are auto source switch+ where the monitor auto detects when connected sources are turned on without having to switch your source. Then there is also the picture by picture feature which allows you to pull up to two different inputs simultaneously on the main display! Also included in the box you’ll get an HDMI cable, USB C cable, power cable and a remote. I’d definitely recommend this monitor if you’re looking for a new gaming monitor.

The field of view (FOV) is expanded within all games from right to left creating a wider gaming area. The curved screen promotes a better way to view games than a conventional rectangular screen. The screen is omni directional, which can control the movement of various viewing angles, when moving left, right, up or down. I have an older Samsung widescreen monitor I am coming from. There are some nice updates and overall this is a solid monitor for work and gaming. On the business side, I used to run a dual monitor setup. Having a super wide monitor makes workflow so much easier owner dual monitors. Unless you had 2 of the exact same monitor I always had issues with moving data from One screen to the other. I can run to full screens side by side.i have run one full page on one side and 2 apps on top of each other on the other side of the monitor. There is no included webcam. The connections on the back are much better than previous monitors. We had to squeeze the cables into a tiny port area. Now we have much better access to the ports. I think the backlight is good. O can’t say I totally notice it when playing a game. For gaming the super wide screen can be good or bad. For steam games, having the super wide monitor does not seem to distort the graphics. I still have a great picture. I have noticed some native games don’t like the wide screen and you may need to play in a single pane on your monitor and not use the full screen. My refresh rate is good, no lag. I am using a GeForce RTX 3080 One complaint. Same as previous versions of this. The monitor will randomly shut off. It may flicker. It has even tripped the computer to reboot
