The Samsung freestanding range with a large 5.9 cu. ft. capacity oven can easily accommodate a big roast, multiple casserole dishes, or two racks of cookies. It also has a powerful and flexible cooktop with five heating elements, including two dual elements, to provide an element that accommodates multiple pan sizes, whether you're boiling water, melting chocolate, or simmering sauce. The self-cleaning setting has 3 different options, depending on your cleaning needs.
A: I hope this helps. It worked for us brilliantly.
Q: How do I clean the cooking surface? Do I need special cookware?
A: Be very careful, use nothing that will scratch, no brillo pads or any type of brush or scrub pads. Clean spills while stove is still warm, with soft, clean, lightly sospy dish cloth. I use Weiman, Glass Cook Top, cleaner & polish. Works very good, using soft paper towels or, clean (old) soft kitchen towels used for cleaning, not your good ones... to sort of slowly, buff to a shine.
Q: Can this range be installed with 3-Prong Range Cord?
A: Yes, 3 or 4 prong
Q: Does Home Depot take the old range away?
A: Yes, for $30. BestBuy will do it for $25.
Q: On the cord that attaches to stove how many wires should there be that attaches to stove
A: Hi there, I can help with that. When you install the unit, it will all depending on your 240v outlet. You can have four prong or three prong cord which will have different installation instructions. You can locate those instruction the the installation manual see link below: https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/EM/201903/20190314214540151/Install_30_Electric_Range_USA_DG68-00108G-09_EN_MES.pdf Thank you for choosing Samsung. ^Brad
Q: do I need special pots for this
A: Thanks for asking, Caroltus! Only induction cooktops require cookware made of specific materials. However, I do have this link (https://bit.ly/2ZbiTVW) that has details on the best types of cookware to use. ^Jecca
