Well this is my second time writing this review. The app crashed aftet i had a nice, lengthy review. I will just say that i like the TV. samsung has inporved the lagging/juddering affect from watching movies from like AMC/TBS etc. the remote is small amd requires no batteties it uses an internal battery that is charged by solar or USBC on the bottom. I would highly recommend buying a new HDMI that is rated as ultra high premium as it will make a difference. I only wish you could have it auto start the last connection you selected instead of going to the Samsung Home screen and you have to select the connection type. The new interface and setting will take time to get adjusted to.

I bought the TV for my dad on Black Friday since it was a great deal I wanted to upgrade him to a new home theater system my dad hates stuff that’s overcomplicated and cheap and this was the exact opposite he loves using it. He loves the quality and completely changed our living space I recommend it 5/5

Review for Samsung - 55” Class Q70D Series QLED 4K Smart Tizen TV I recently purchased the Samsung 55” Class Q70D Series QLED 4K Smart Tizen TV from Best Buy, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance and features. The picture quality is outstanding. The QLED technology delivers vibrant colors, deep blacks, and excellent brightness, even in well-lit rooms. The 4K resolution ensures sharp details, and the Quantum Processor does a great job of upscaling non-4K content. The motion handling is also excellent, especially for sports and action-packed movies. With a 120Hz refresh rate, the TV provides smooth and seamless transitions without motion blur. The Smart Tizen OS is very intuitive and easy to navigate. It comes preloaded with all the popular streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+, and the integration with voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant is seamless. The tv picturenis sharp. All colors and shade look amazing. Refresh rate is good, I've no issues with blury fast moving scenes. Easy to setup. My only criticism is the remote has small buttons very close together, so we were always accidentally pushing the wrong button. We got a replacement universal remote and are happy.

I've had this for almost 2 weeks and so far it's great. I replaced a 13 year old Samsung LCD which still worked well and had nice picture but this is definitely an upgrade. The picture is bright and crisp. The colors look great and when I've watched 4k content it looks incredible. Xbox Series X games also look great. I have a sound bar so I don't use the tv speakers. The little bit I did hear sound from them during set up, they did not sound great. I have my sound bar connected with the optical cable because I want it to turn on/off with the tv. I do have an issue with the sound bar muting after turning the tv on and sometimes when changing inputs. Not sure if it's something with the tv or the sound bar. Not a huge deal, more a minor annoyance. I have an Apple TV 4k so I'm not using the Tizen system for streaming, but it seems decently laid out. There appears to be quite a few FAST channels and content suggestions that give you the option of where to purchase or what subscription you need to watch it. The Apple TV upconverts everything to UHD so even the non-4k content I've watched on that looks great. I have an antenna for local channels. The coax connection sticks out the side of the inset area where all the connections are and is difficult to attach because there isn't much space. On my old tv it stuck straight out the back. Assembly is very easy with two people. Set up was fairly easy, you do need to set up a Samsung account and download the Smart Things app if you don't have those already. I like that the remote is solar and can also be charged with a USB-C cable so no messing with batteries. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and will update if I run into any issues.

I was Satisfied with my Q70d until the Q80d sale price dropped to only $100 difference, so I exchanged and couldn't be happier. If you are a Samsung fan I would consider checking out the full array qled Q80d or neo qled Qn85, Qn90 models. They get even brighter with more detail and have better sound. The Q70d is still a great buy on sale.

Easy set up. Easy to use. Great picture quality. Nice size. Easily connected with the Samsung sound bar.
