A: We just had this same issue with a new dryer. There was nothing wrong with the dryer. It was the vent was blocked.
Q: Do I need a pan to sit underneath this dryer?
A: No you don’t.
Q: What size gas line/connections are needed?
A: My home required a 5/8 gas line.
A: It comes with the vent coming out the back but there is an adjustable vent package
A: We had the same problem. Found out it was a blockage in air return. We have a new build. It had nothing to do with the dryer. Double check air return.
A: The y connector and the short water hose(that splits the hot water from the washer) is included. You need to purchase the hose for the steam line. I just purchased and realized this after we wanted to hook up machine. The advertising is misleading. Don’t do what I do. I have to drive a hour back to Best Buy to get this hose which cost $30. Now also you can use the dryer without the steam function until you get that hose.
