A: We just had this same issue with a new dryer. There was nothing wrong with the dryer. It was the vent was blocked.
Q: Do I need a pan to sit underneath this dryer?
A: No you don’t.
Q: What size gas line/connections are needed?
A: My home required a 5/8 gas line.
A: It comes with the vent coming out the back but there is an adjustable vent package
A: We had the same problem. Found out it was a blockage in air return. We have a new build. It had nothing to do with the dryer. Double check air return.
A: The y connector and the short water hose(that splits the hot water from the washer) is included. You need to purchase the hose for the steam line. I just purchased and realized this after we wanted to hook up machine. The advertising is misleading. Don’t do what I do. I have to drive a hour back to Best Buy to get this hose which cost $30. Now also you can use the dryer without the steam function until you get that hose.

Samsung 7.4 cu. ft. Smart Gas Dryer
The Samsung 7.4 cu. ft. smart gas dryer is quiet, efficient and super easy to use. I love the large capacity it handles big loads like bedding with no problem. The smart app notifications are really convenient, and clothes always come out dry without overheating. Sleek design, simple controls and great performance. Highly recommend this dryer.

Great dryer
Great dryer, I love the smart features. Pretty quiet drying experience. Can fit a queen size comforter. The dryer can sense if your clothes are dry and stop them ahead of time to save energy and $.
