Q: When you describe the Open Box condition as 'fair' what does that mean?
A: I just purchased an open box excellent condition and it was completely trashed. Didn’t notice until I got it home and unwrapped it and there was large dents along with deep scratches all over the top and sides along with missing screws. I would buy new or not at all after this experience they wouldn’t do anything but take it back.
A: You will need about 5 inches of clearance. Enough room for the 4 inch duct work to come out and turn. The washer requires less room. You should be under 36 inch depth.
Q: Is the separate steam installation kit necessary? Does the dryer not include these pieces?

Q: Is the dryer vented or unvented?
A: it is vented
A: the washer had what it needed but, I required a second install appointment because I didn't realize the dryer had a part that was necessary to use the steam for the dryer. I want to use features I paid for of course. Sales person should have set this up. Also, had to have the second appointment to move the door since my units were stacked.

Q: what is the wattage of this unit? volt x amp is 7200 but that seems very high.
A: The specifications in the manual show a power consumption of 5400W. That said, you need a circuit breaker of 30A at 240V to cover the operation without nuisance tripping. It doesn’t consume the full amount that the CB can deliver; 30A x 240V = 7200W
