Its a nice tv, but you can go oled and get a better picture. Unless your TV provider has 8k channels, its pretty much a waste as far as picture quality. If you use streaming services like youtube tv, the picture quality is just okay. Upgraded from a 2020 65” curve samsung to this 75” samsung and to be honest picture quality is about the same. The glare on the screen is also a problem if its a bright day and you have the blinds open. TV is extremely heavy and requires a solid built wall mount. The hdmi inputs, coax, optical output are in a seperate box. Theres a large silver wire to connect the box to the tv. It mounts either on the stand or literally just hangs on the back of tv for wall mount. For the money, 4k OLED is better picture, this should be a 999.99 black friday tv. The costruction of the tv is kind of shoddy for the money. When you put the hdmi box on the back, you actually have to push the rear plastic panel inwards, so the provided screws/fasteners will reach the threads of the nut-serts. The remote is solar or usb c, but its tiny and cheap. If you have kids, its gonna get lost before the tv is out of the box. Its big and bright…. Thats about it.

My rating is based on the performance of the television only. The picture is fantastic. The sound is good overall, but have a Samsung soundbar which does improve the performance from the standard inset speakers. I would definitely recommend this television for those looking to upgrade. I purchased this set as an open box item and it came in the original box and packaging. My issue comes with the grading system. My set was graded "Open-Box Excellent" which is described as "Looks Brand New." When I got the set home and unboxed it I found that the bezel was buckled on the lower right side as if it had been dropped. This set should have been graded as "Open-Box Good" which is described as "Minor to moderate cosmetic signs of use possible."

Excellent TV, opted for this during a labor day sale and was very happy with the results. My wife and I updated to this from a 15 year old 46" Toshiba HD TV, and it's a multiple worlds of difference. Obvious improvements of moving from a 15 year old HD tv to a 8K Smart TV aside, I've been very happily surprised about the Smart HUB and how it integrates my house. This applies to Samsung's user interface and how much I appreciate it's simplicity. I've gone from using my PS5 for all of my media (Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, etc) to being able to use an expanded app set from Samsung's library. There's not a whole lot of media available in 8K format, but my wife and I liked the upscaling AI and processing power of this TV. Additionally, I am no longer having to squint at my TV to try and read the borderline microscopic text on games like Elden Ring, and Remnant 2. We've both been extremely happy with our purchase. The only gripe I might have is that it is a heavier than typical TV (all those extra pixels perhaps?!?!), so hanging it was a bit of a challenge, but that's something you can also pay to have people do. I would simply recommend you have multiple people help you, mainly to avoid tragedy.

This 8k TV is simply amazing, great picture quality and connectivity. It was easy to connect the wifi connection and provide good speeds with video streaming. The tv adopts to your daily activities such as gaming with game hub and movies in order to provide the best quality experience. The sound quality was not the best in the world, but it does provide a unique sounds adoptive feature when watching content.

Great TV for the value! Has built-in picture preset to allow you to view the film the way the filmmakers intended it to be viewed. Picked it up on clearance for a great deal and would recommend to others.

To bright for me. The colors are too intense. I know there who love those attributes, but for me it over don. I admit that do my research well enough and I bit off more than I could chew. My wife and I more evening television viewers so in a dim room it blast you with too much light. I read to use a bright television in a dim room is turn on lights. I did try that advice and will say it work for me. I this will help someone in there television buying decisions.

tawdah,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the QN800C TV’s image quality. If you’re uncomfortable with the default brightness settings, you can customize the brightness level between 0 – 50 to your preference. Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Brightness.
You can also try different Picture Modes to see which best fits your needs. Go to Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode for the below choices:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
3. Eco: Provided to save energy
4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
Intelligent Mode also enables the TV to recognize and analyze the surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best viewing experience. You can enable Intelligent Mode by going to Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Intelligent Mode Settings > Intelligent Mode. Adaptive Picture, which is among the options, optimizes brightness and provides the best picture quality in real time, based on the lighting condition and the content you're viewing.
I hope you can use these adjustment recommendations to set the image to your liking. Purchased when it was on sale, so it was one of the display ones without a box or mount, but works and functions well. Would say it was a great purchase.
