Great SSD, mine was made in Korea and is a quality product. I installed this in a older Lenovo E550 to replace the old mechanical disk and its a night and day difference. Boot times are quick and fast and programs load lightning fast! I like the Samsung Magician software that allows you to check the drive health run benchmarks etc. If you have a older computer there is no reason not to upgrade to this. Best Buy delivered item in 1 day can't beat the service.

This item will NOT WORK in my Samsung laptop. I have tried every thing none to man. There are no instuctions so I must rely on Samsung's web site. The Web site is terrible and it is what I have come to expect from Samsung. Samsung has gone so far down hill. Applicances are garbage and now laptops are garbage. I have issues with a new flatscreen as well. NO MORE SAMSUNG FOR ME.

It’s fast and easy to install, works on any aging laptops or desktops, and most of all, it speeds up the overall system! What’s not to love?

Super fast and supper effective. I put my os on this bad boy and I was restarting my PC in like 15 seconds and opening apps and browsers were lighting fast. It also has some space so you can put vids on there that load fast and small sized games aswell. THis paired with a HDD or m.2 is a monster. Buy this and if not this one the 500 gb version.

This is a great SATA SSD, but like most SATA SSDs, the speed is limited by the interface so you won't really get the full potential of an SSD. If your computer can make use of an NVME drive, I would definitely get one of those instead.

Got two of these for a mirrored boot drive setup for a router. Samsung SSD's have always work great for me. Needed a smaller size and these work great. Just connect them by SATA 3 cables and you're done. Fast and cheap.

I went from an HDD to this SSD and wow it was a big upgrade in speed. Boot time and launching programs is nearly instant. It used to take 5-10 minutes to boot.
