We were excited and still am for many reasons. The unit looks great overall: Pro - Good looking outside - good looking inside - great controls - cool water picture refiller Cons - Ice maker slow - ice maker makes ice kind of sloppy small - ice when put in the freezer overfill must melt ant get stuck together - crooked inside compartments - cheep stainless steel lining the inside - stainless steel scratches easy

Shocked by how horrible this is

It took months to get my special order on this fridge. I have been trying to get some help with returning as it's most definitely over priced. There are 2 color finishes. Top doors and Lower drawers look like they came from different appliances. The ice maker is so small it makes enough ice for 2 glasses. The upper doors don't close unless you give them a good swing.

Ice Maker is terrible

Had the refrigerator installed about two weeks ago. Ice Maker from the start didn't work. I actually read the manual and tried on my own to fix it. Geek Squad fixed it but they ordered a part so just waiting for them to come and fix it. Other than that, I have noticed my fruits and veggies stay fresh longer. Also the bottom freezer slide out top drawer isn't that great. Can't put much on it as it goes off track. When Geek Squad comes out going to have them look at that as well

Love the design, storage space, auto-refill water jug, center drawer and the French door access as well as the stainless steel interior finish. It's quiet and the temperature has been constant and true from the get go. My GE side by side had a somewhat casual relationship with temperature control. The final straw was waking up to find it 90 degrees inside. With the Samsung my milk has never tasted so cold!!!

Beautiful refrigerator and spacious. What makes it extra spacious is that it is so configurable. Its so nice not to have to stack things on top of each other and hoping that they do not fall on you when you open the doors!

Beautiful fridge

One of the nicest looking fridges inside and out. We exchanged 2 previous refrigerators for this one. A Kitchen Aid and a GE. We returned the previous two because they were so loud. This Samsung is very quiet and sleek.

The refrigerator didn’t work. It was stuck in demo mode and would not change. It has been returned and we have since purchased a working version from another retailer.

BUYER BEWARE!!! If I could give this refrigerator zero stars, I would. The ice maker continuous froze up to the point it would no longer work. And now, 4 years after purchase, the sealed refrigeration system is broken (this costs $3000 to repair on this model!) NEVER WILL I PURCHASE ANOTHER SAMSUNG!!! I can now understand why Samsung has a class action lawsuit against them.

Bad freezer design

I love the refrigerator and water/ice dispenser -- but the freezer design is awful. The slide-out drawer constantly falls out of its tracks -- and must be adjusted to push it back for access to the lower freezer area. For a unit this expensive, you'd expect much, much better design. Pick a different model.

Terrible Product Do Not Buy!

The ice maker produces very very little ice. Ice maker shuts down for no reason at all! You will constantly need to get a hair dryer to thaw out the ice maker because it freezes up for no reason at all. Vlx dumped in the constantly empty ice maker it makes a noise 24/7 sounds like the bottom is falling out of this stupid refrigerator. I cannot imagine what engineer designs the silly setup. There is very little room in the actual refrigerator part. This too is poorly designed run from Chef Collection!
