I really wanted a folio case that didn’t fold at the front, and was angelic to make it easier for me to remove my Tab S3 and switch it to the Keyboard Cover. 3 years since its release, I was glad to find the Samsung Official Cover still being sold at Best Buy new. Pros: -Magnet. It is still pretty strong and I don’t feel like the Tab S3 is going to fall out. Easy enough to remove and return. Even when in landscape mode, the magnet to hold it up is pretty strong and you can adjust it to two different angles. -Protection: As it covers both sides (unlike Smart Covers for the iPads) I feel that my Tab S3 will be protected. -Weight: it’s so light and easy to hold in my hands when reading or searching online. -Look: I really enjoy this cover. It has that minimalist look to it, slim and precise cut outs. Cons: -No holder for the S-pen. This was annoying, as the Keyboard Cover has the slot for this, but the Folio cover does not. Overall, well please with this cover and the perfect compliment to my Tab S3. Again, after 3 years the price was just right for this cover.

Fit perfectly and looks amazing , good quality but easy to get prints and stains.

This has a magnetic connection to adhere to the tablet. It allows you to take photos while giving extra protection. Also has bendable positions to prop the screen for watching movies. Stylish too.

I bought this to primarily protect the screen when I was not using my tablet. Excellent fit, easy to use, and the built-in stand is very nice.

Like the slim case, not bulky, fits like a glove. It doesn't have a holder for the pen, but the clip on the pen is metal and it sticks well enough to the case's magnets. A minor drawback for me is that the case attaches to the tablet by magnets instead of clipping on. Sometimes moving or holding it in an awkward way while using it causes the case to slide off. For the most part, the magnets hold it in place better than I expected they would. Overall exactly what I was looking for.

Materials: The cover is high quality, well made, which you/I should totally demand from a cover/case from the manufacturer. For a folio style, it is very comfortable and fits correctly. It is a thinner folio style cover; I was worried at first that it might have been too thin, but in the end, I think for carrying in a bag or reading in the park, etc. the cover's protection is suitable. If you're taking it camping or something where the chances of damage are higher then you may want to consider a secondary, more rugged case and screen protector. Attachment Method: This brings me to the attachment method, which is where I had my main issues with the case. To utilize the folding stand the only real viable method of attachment is through magnets. This worked fine for setting the tablet on the counter or a desk, but the method isn't completely stable if, say, sitting in bed and you have to pick up the tablet/case and move it. It was here that I had the table detach several times and fall off and onto the bed mattress. This case is very secure when sitting on a flat surface, but if you have to move it you had better grasp the case and table together before doing so or you may end up dropping the tablet. Ultimately, this is why I returned the case. After having the tablet become detached several times, I knew I was begging to damage it, which is definitely not something I want to do with a $450 tablet. S Pen Position: Some people have misunderstandings concerning where to put the S Pen. There are two possibilities. You can either use the two magnetic strips on the back of the cover. I was a bit weary of this method. It seemed to be begging to lose it by falling off. I opted for method number two which was to clip it on the spine of the cover. This spot still isn't ideal as the pen is exposed on the outside of the case, but I didn't fell it was going to fall off the case either. Samsung, would it really have been so difficult to make a pouch to slide the pen into? Overall, if you are transporting the tablet via a secure method such as a backpack or computer bag, etc. and you are using it in a responsible way, on flat, secure surfaces, then I think the case is an OK purchase considering it is made of nice materials and the S Pen attachment can be worked with. But, if you are going to be using this tablet for media consumption and the like on a couch, bed, or outside on uneven surfaces or your lap, I think you need to at least purchase a secondary case and screen protector, something more rugged. This case is simply not built for that kind of usage and if you try to utilize it for that then you are begging to damage it. YMMV. I think Samsung can do better than this given they want to charge $50-$60.

I bought the is for my Samsung tablet that I recently purchased. It's not a bulky case which I like. It covers and protects my tablet without getting in the way.

The BB rating system doesn't allow for 1/2 stars. I marked it as 3, but it's really closer to 3.5. Pros: - Sturdy - Protects very well (I've dropped twice, no damage to tab) - Easy to add the tab Cons: - Way too finicky about how to make it a stand - No way I have found for vertical (portrait) stand - Since the Tab S3 itself doesn't have a holder for the S-Pen, Samsung should have at least built one into the case, but they didn't. It's a decent case, does its job, but nothing at all special. I really believe Samsung could have - and should have - done better, especially for the price. I'm also marking this review as "I would recommend this to a friend" but with a caveat: only if you haven't found another case you like better because the Tab S3 absolutely must have a case of some kind.

Nice made to fit case. Does not feel bulky. Lacking a stylus holding option.

This case really preserves the beauty of the tablet since it doesn't wrap around the sides. The magnets hold it steady in its standing positions. The only thing I'm not thrilled with is that it can easily slide off the case if you hold it the wrong way since it's not physically attached. It just sticks to the back via the embedded magnets. This is different from the smaller S2 case which has two magnet holes which hold much stronger.

this cover is great, protects great and has different stand options, makes pad light and easy to carry

It does the job and protects my tablet. My only complaint is that it has no place to put the pen so that it doesn't get lost. Which I have already done....lost the pen in my house somewhere.

Like the thin profile of this case. Offers good protection without much bulk or weight. Color is good too. I really like the magnetic attachment; have never had the tablet fall out or loose it's grip on the tablet. I do believe to be a bit pricey for what it is though.

This case fits the tablet using a magnet. The back of the tablet clings by magnet to the back inside cover of the case for a perfect fit. The back of the case folds to various positions so the tablet can be used in a semi-standing position for watching movies, etc. When closed, the case turns off the tablet and it wakes again when opened. The best part is that I found this genuine Samsung brand case on another web site at a savings of over $26 and the Best Buy store did a price match for me so I ended up saving a bunch of money. Best Buy will always do a price match with certain web sites which is another reason why I do much of my tech shopping at Best Buy.

This was the only case available at the time. Just needed one that would allow it to stand and protect the screen so it was fine. Allows for 2 different angles for reading and as an added benefit, the stylus clip sticks to the magnets on the outside. Good case for those that do not need extra heavy duty protection.

This is a pretty good case it is light and compact but it is not the best case for protection. The only thing holding the tablet and place is a magnet. The magnet is strong enough to hold the tablet in place but I would recommend a different case if you're looking for something for maximum protection.

This cover is well made and is very versatile. You can use it as a straight book cover or as a stand for your tablet. The instructions are not very good, so you have to use trial and error to figure out how to use it as a stand.

Provides good protection for your Tab S3. You're able to fold the front cover into a viewing stand with multiple angles. The front cover closes with magnets in the corners that wakes your Tab S3 when the front cover is opened.

Looks good, works fine. Wish it secured tablet with straps or something, only holds with magnets.

I was looking or a slim case just like the one I had on my original Tab S, and this fits the bill. Not bulky, multiple viewing angles, and fits like a glove. It doesn't have a holder for the pen, but the clip on the pen is metal and it sticks well enough to the case's magnets to keep the pen from being misplaced. The only minor drawback for me is that the case attaches to the tablet by magnets instead of clipping on like the Tab S case did. Because of this, sometimes moving or holding it in an awkward way while using it causes the case to slide off. Not a major deal, but a minor annoyance. For the most part, the magnets hold it in place better than I expected they would, actually. Otherwise, it's exactly what I was looking for.
