I've been a Galaxy S fan for some time, having owned the S2, S4, Note 7 (briefly), and S8+. Typically I upgrade only when I believe there's been enough of an improvement over my current model to justify the expense. None of them have disappointed me (except for the Note 7, but that's a different story). Most recently, I've loved the S8+ and would continue to be happy with it, but the S10+ offers a few things I've wanted for a while. First and foremost, they've increased both the RAM and the amount of available internal storage, while at the same time keeping SD card support. (I chose the 1 TB version.) Secondly, I was never 100% comfortable with the fingerprint sensor on the S8+. Having it on the back of the phone, right next to the camera lens, seemed a bit awkward ... and I wound up often placing my finger on the lens instead. The S10+ addresses that by using the new in-display technology. I really like having the fingerprint sensor on the front ... it's easier. Finally, they've increased the battery size a bit, meaning that I'm able to go longer between recharges. Having said all that, I'm only giving it 4 stars because of few things which may or may not be as important for some. First, the in-display fingerprint sensor, though much more convenient, doesn't seem to be as accurate as the older sensors. Although it works fine *most* of the time, occasionally I'll have to try two or three times to correctly place my finger on the sensor before it recognizes my fingerprint. Also, once my finger is correctly positioned, it often seems to take a bit longer to register than on my S8+. Another minor disappointment is the camera ... specifically night shots. The three lenses on the back certainly help produce fantastic photos in ample light, but when it's dark, the photos often appear a bit fuzzy and/or muddy. Lastly, I'm a bit disappointed that Samsung chose to stick with the UFS 2.1 storage technology, instead of the newer UFS 3.0 standard which doubles bandwidth (resulting in faster performance). Given that this is their 10th anniversary flagship, I would have expected the latter. So, no phone is ever truly perfect, and the S10+ does have a few minor flaws, but overall it's an excellent phone and I don't regret my purchase. It's an outstanding piece of technology and is certainly worth considering.

Been using Galaxy phones for many years and have always loved them. Switched to an iPhone kinda against my will 6 months ago and have hated every second! This phone is fast, light, has a great screen, and tons of memory and RAM. Battery life has been pretty good, best of the Galaxy phones I've owned, but not really as good as has been hyped. If you used the phone sporadically you will get a full day. I've been using mine on and off for about 7 hours and I am down to 59% right now. Heavy use no way getting a full day. Included screen protector was a nice touch I did not know about when I pre-ordered. Now just need to wait a few week for my free earbuds to arrive to see if those are any good. Triplecrear camera is nice to get added wide and zoomed shots.

This Samsung Galaxy S10+ is amazing! Brilliant color, great photos and great reception on AT&T. Lightning faat connections to internet and blue tooth.
