Worth the Trade-Up from an S21+
I traded up from a Samsung S21+ and have owned the S24+ for a couple of days. Here's what I've observed so far. •It’s almost the same size as the S21+ but a little lighter •The S24+ is faster in doing nearly everything. •Its battery life seems about equal (too early to fully tell) •I didn’t like the factory wallpaper and icons, but that is easily changed. There are some pretty cool wallpapers, themes, and icons, available for this device. •I like the AI search tool but haven’t used it enough to determine its value for me. •Transferring the data and apps from the old phone to the new one was a breeze (compared to the earlier cell phones). Samsung support at Best Buy gets the credit for doing this for me. All my apps were saved and were on my home screens just the way I had them configured on the old phone. Also, all the apps worked except one (an easy fix). •The screen is bright and the resolution is great. However, I haven’t used it enough yet to make any comparison. •The camera, however, seems far superior. Again, I haven’t used it enough yet to appreciate the difference. Overall, the biggest change, by far, in comparing these two models is that Samsung has now nailed the fingerprint sensor perfectly. My old S21+ was a pain to unlock using either fingerprints or face (always delays and just mostly used my pin). I will spare you details on the many hours I spent trying to get the sensor to work effectively on my S21+. The new S24+ is EASY to unlock with my fingerprint.

S24+ purchase
Great phone for a awesome deal! Best buy always ensures I get the best value and I also traded in my other phone and received a trade in promotion. The s24+ fits perfectly in the palm of my hand, and is a reliable device with much storage and a great camera.
