This is probably the 11th smartphone I've owned since purchasing my first iPhone (2G) 8 years ago. After being around the block that many times, I've always had at least a couple "unchecked" boxes off my perfect phone with every handset I've owned. This one finally reached that point for me! Amazing cameras, insane power, ridiculously high battery life, crystal-clear display, and even a couple of eye-catching gimmicks that give it an amazing finish. I had purchased the Galaxy S6 edge last year hoping for that perfect phone, but it's 2 fatal flaws found it shelved within a few months. Flaw 1 was the dead-by-noon battery life, and flaw 2 was it's extreme susceptibility to water damage. Using the phone in the RAIN often left that phone incapacitated for a day to a week while it dried out. It was the coolest most unreliable phone in the world. The S7E fixed those final two checkboxes, and sold me on the nearly $800 pricetag. The phone feels incredible in my hand. If you haven't picked one up, even to test it out at the samsung bar, do it! The Camera has an amazing depth of field and brings subjects into stunning focus. The edge panels give me the ability to jump from program to program without ever having to see my homescreen if desired, taking a 2-step process down to 1 step. Always-On Display is amazing for use as a timepiece when it's sitting face-up on the table, and the (now)traditional edge is great for indicating new messages when face-down. Take a look at this phone when you get the chance. Try it out in your hand. It's a large 5.5" screen, so it's definitely on the upper ends of size, but it is amazingly comfortable and pocketable. I enjoy every aspect of this handset!

I am not especially, "cell phone savvy." This was my 2nd. Smart phone, after a "not so good," first experience. I've had the galaxyS7 edge for almost a year, and I can say that it didn't let me down. Love the camera, and fingerprint sign-in feature. It is a great phone, and so user friendly. I would highly recommend this product, to anyone looking for a good, dependable, all around phone

Ive had this for close to 2 months now and its awesome, everything works smoothly, the only cons I can think of currently is that amount of bloatware, and how battery heavy touchwiz UI is but that can be solved by getting a different UI that you can purchase from the store but other than those everything has been amazing including the battery life even through heavy usage it last more than it needs to be IMHO.

This is by far the best android phone I have ever owned in terms of ease of use. I previously was an owner of the iPhone 6 but apple is way to restrictive with its end user agreement. I do not like the edge screen. It makes it too tough to utilize the screen without accidentally touching it the sides. Also there are very limited protective cases for the s7 edge. Otter Box has an s7 defender case but not one for the s7 edge.

I was hesitant about purchasing this phone as everyone that I know has the new I-phone but I was using the Samsung S4 active which I liked so I decided to continue with Samsung. The S7Edge is a great phone, the camera on it is amazing. It is easy to use and has great battery life. So happy with my purchase!

I actually have had no problems with my new phone at all. It has taught me some new things that I didn't know it would do. I am having fun with it completely. They did tell me something about Shutter fly but I haven't found it yet. Wondering if I go into Apps to get ? It takes beautiful pictures.

When I had to return my recalled 7, I decided to instead get the Edge 7. Well I went with the Pink Gold one and I love it. The color is awesome and the phone is incredible. Does all I need it to and everyone who sees it, comments how they love the look/color of the phone. Glad about the choice I made.

My wife and I bought the Galaxy S7 Edge from Best Buy and we really love them! Coming from the Galaxy S6 Edge I didn't think it would be much of an upgrade but it was surprised at the improvements. The screen size is much larger than the S6 Edge and the resolution on the screen is gorgeous. Even in intense sunlight conditions outside the screen is bright and easy to see. I previously purchased the 128gb S6 Edge since I could not expand the memory and thought I would use it. Well, I never needed the storage and overpaid for the phone. With this phone, you get 32gb of storage and you can expand the memory up to 256gb more with a micro sd card. I got a 64gb card for me and the wife and that should be plenty of space for us giving us 96gb of total space. Also, having a water resistant phone is a good to know in case an accident happens. I dropped an old phone in a toilet once so it's good to know my phone will be alright if that were to happen again. The S7 Edge is ridiculously quick and powerful and I even convinced my mom and stepdad to pick one up as their very first smartphones. They are easy to use and the cameras are by far the best on the market. Must buy!

The phone at first glance does not seem drastically different from the s6 edge. In the hand it feels a lot smoother with no more rough edges, including where the screen meets the side of the phone. It feels sturdy, but with the glossy finish I can't help but be scared to scratch it. The camera is noticabey better, especially low light photos. Where this phone really stands out from the s6 edge is the battery life. I am no longer worried about making it last the whole day, because I know it will. Now that being said, you can drain the battery on any phone if you try hard enough. Where battery life starts to hurt is when you are using the Gear VR for extended periods of time, but what do you expect. System wise it is not entirely fair to compare to the s6's 5.1.1. The 6.0.1 is a lot smoother though.

How does one begin reviewing a phone like the Samsung S7 Edge? Where do you start? With its incredible look & feel? Or that it's waterproof? Or the amazing pictures it takes? I could go on and on, but there's been many critiques by people who do this for a living. I've read several and not one didn't love this phone. It surpasses many others in various benchmarks. Yes, I do read these because I want to know what I'm getting. I personally compared it to the iPhone 6s+. To be honest, I am NOT an Apple person, but do I need to elaborate? No. The S7 Edge was better in numerous ways. Not just by benchmarks, but by the ways regular people (not total geeks) compare phones, like its appearance, camera, storage, size, usability, etc. I'm a devoted Galaxy phone person. This is my 5th, passing up on the 4th & 6th versions. So when I read that the S7 Edge was coming out in early 2016, I stopped looking for an S6 Edge. And I am sooo happy I did. I've had this phone for 2 months now, and I still can't stop looking at it. I'm glad Samsung made the S7 Edge a bit narrower than S5. I have small hands so it's easier for me to hold. The phone is blazing fast. The camera is fun to play with. There's many options that were not available in the S5, such as live broadcasting, slow mo, virtual. Personalizing is, for me, the most fun and time-consuming because there's so much I can do. The Edge apps are great, although we need more. I've even downloaded a couple, one for sports scores & another for news. The security settings are fantastic. I love using the fingerprints which is much better than on the S5. Even if you don't use it for waking up, it's still available for specific apps. I've set up Samsung Pay, but haven't had an opportunity to use it. Setup was easy, but certain banks won't let you use it. There's also Amazon Pay, but you need to choose which you want to use. And charging is fast with the Fast Adapter. If you don't use it, it will just take longer to charge. There's a lot more to see & do. But the best thing to do is to go through the phone. Check out all the settings first. There's other useful ones you might want to try and/or use. Get your phone ready for daily use. Personalize it. And don't forget to buy a screen protector & rear cover. Even though it has Gorilla glass, it can still get damaged. I personally recommend a tempered glass screen protector. I have one on all my devices. You won't even know it's on. As I stated in the Summary, this is the BEST, MOST BEAUTIFUL, AND FUN Galaxy phone I've ever owned. Try it, then buy it.

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge after my dog ate my S6 Edge (lol). I love love love it. I got it in Gold, which is really pretty, but that's beside the point... The camera is amazing, true to color and focuses immediatly upon opening. The phone is fast, reliable, and I really like the waterproof/resistance aspect. It's the perfect size and weight. I am not the most tech savvy person (obviously) but I think anybody would be happy with this purchase.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge its an extraordinary device. Not a lot people love Samsung phones, but I'm a fan of them since the Galaxy S4. Samsung has transcendent and made (in my opinion) the best smartphone to date. Magnificent Camera, Extraordinary Battery Life, Smooth Transitions, Less Bloatware, Unique/Elegant design, and the software (Touchwiz) has improved a lot since the beginning of the Galaxy S Series. I think I won't change my phone for a couple of years, because this beauty is beyond expectations!

am a former iPhone user and when it accidentally fell in my pool and drowned I decided to go with the S7 Edge as it has the water resistant property. The first phone I got had some significant problems that showed up about 14 days after I purchased it. Luckily Best Buy was awesome and allowed me to exchange it for another one. I was a little hesitant to get the same phone again but took a chance since I loved the features on the first one. This phone is awesome! Best decision I ever made. It's completely customizable for the advanced user and also has a simple interface for the beginner. The camera takes very sharp photos. The edge option allows quick shortcuts to all the things I use the most. The fingerprint scanner makes for quick access to my files. The display is bright and crisp. This phone has gotten wet and it was like nothing ever happened. It's working great. The phone is light weight. Battery life for me is about 36 hours. My only complaint is the speakers aren't that great. Sound is awesome, however, if listening through the headphones. I am happy to report that the issues I had encountered in my first phone have not reoccurred.
