I love this tablet! It does everything. The only thing I can say bad about it is that it doesn't have a flash on it. But if your taking many pictures in the dark this should not be a problem. But it's very thin and lite weight. Has the thumbprint security. Apps are easy to access. This tablet is sleek and sheek. I would recommend this as a great buy.

I like the size of this tablet. Not too large or too small. It's easy to read the print. And, it's easy to operate. I like the gold color. It looks classy. I will use this one more than my smaller tablet.

Samsung ditching the " cheaper" materials for their phones and tablets was the final step needed towards attaining mobile greatness. I've always been a fan of their screens and other worldly specs, but with almost each product I have purchased in the past, the plastic and/or faux leather housing led to eventual dissatisfaction. Typically I wound up ditching the Samsung product for something Apple or other. The Galaxy Tab S2 is the absolute best Android tablet I've owned from Samsung, and bests all other tablets on the Android market. I purchased the black 32GB model, no need for the 64GB model after adding my 128GB micro SD. Nothing has slowed down the lightning speed of booting up, opening apps, even after side loading over 50GB of music and video onto the memory card. The tablet is a pleasure to hold while viewing media, so much that I hate having to put on a case when I'm on the go. Touch Wiz UI still is a sore spot compared to stock Android, but with Nova Launcher my S2 tablet looks exactly how I want, and performs even better. Even The S-Pen app is fully functional with a cheap stylus. I haven't owned any other Android tablet that hasn't suffered from crashes and slower speeds with the addition of all my apps and with a smaller amount of media. I'm looking forward to 2 to 3 years with this beautiful beast as a companion to my Note 5.

This is a great tablet. It has an incredible display. It is fast with the eight processors. It is lightweight. It comes with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint. The 5GHz wifi is lightning fast and streams fast. The tablet syncs easily and quickly with my Samsung TV. Allows micro SD cards to be used for external storage. Battery life seems just fine for my needs. Just a great tablet.

Regretfully, I briefly owned the Samsung Tablet Galaxy S 10.5 for two weeks prior to purchasing the S2. The Tab S mysteriously died on the 14th day. It was a demonstrator purchased from a competing office supply store. The Tab S display was phenomenal, encouraging viewing of 4K videos, etc. I found myself wanting to view video on the tablet instead of my television. Not so much with the Tab S2. The black bars resulting from the 4:3 display degrades the experience. And I believe I can see the loss of pixels. However, realistically, the majority of my tablet usage is reading vice video viewing. Plus this tablet has greater storage (32 GB) and is quicker and lighter. Love the idea of external storage, although I haven't taken advantage of it. My tablet was an open box purchased for $307 and to my surprize it had a 60 GB mini SD card enclosed that the prior purchaser must have installed. Great deal for $307. Shortly after my purchase the Apple Air 2 went on sale for $375. Tough choice. Apple reportedly has better apps, however the entry tablet only has 16GB of storage and no external storage. I'll stick with the Tab S2. Hopefully, it will last a few years. Although it's rumored the next Tab S will regain the lost pixels and possibly 3D touch.

I have been looking at tablets for some time now, and I have purchased a couple of Samsung tablets in that time. I have bought a Samsung Tab E and a Samsung Tab A. Both are good tablets, but they don't stand up to the S2. Here is a quick breakdown of the pros and cons that I have found. Pros - Light, very light - Fast and smooth - Great screen (very clear, much better than Tab A and Tab E) - Has some great accessories (Samsung keyboard case combo) - Decent battery - Very reliable Cons - Price - Speakers could be better Overall, I have really enjoyed this tablet. It is very light, yet it has a great screen and the battery life isn't that bad. There is a battery savings option that has helped extend the battery life. I usually don't spend all day watching videos or anything like that, and with my normal usage, I can usually get five days or so before I have to re-charge it. The only downside is the cost, but when you compare it with an iPad, it isn't that much at all. Overall, if you are looking for a tablet that can do a lot, is pretty smooth in operation and are willing to pay a bit more, than this is a great tablet.

I'm so glad I did my research to learn about Samaung's loaded lineup of tablets. I was looking at the A series tabs at first, then realized there were major differences. The s2 9.7 hits all the right points: lightweight, amazing screen, and just a solid overall build and feel. I don't have much to compare it to, but I can say that I'm absolutely satisfied with my purchase. Battery life is solid, even with the screen brightness turned almost half way up to max. If you're in the market for a top-of-the-line tablet, this is the way to go.

I have a Note 10.1 2014 edition and it was very awkward to read in portrait mode because my thumb would hit the back button or the home button, plus the battery on my note tablet wasn't that great, and it was a heavy tablet but this tab s2 9.7 is just the right size and reading is so much better, it's so light and the screen is awesome, it operates smooth like butter and it's worth the upgrade from my previous tablet.

This Samsung S2 tablet was a replacement for the laptop our family shared. The laptop was the ripe age of 6 years (in the technology world, that's OLD, right?), and we decided we didn't use it much for real work (homework, paying bills, etc.). Additionally, in the last 6 years, we all transitioned to smart phones, so any kind of quick research or sharing was done on our phones. This said, we decided not to purchase another laptop because the desktop pc is our workhorse. I started research on tablet size devices and had to decide on 'mini' laptop or tablet size phone! My son nailed it when he reminded me that we mostly used the laptop for a bigger screen when doing internet searches and that the device would always stay here at home, so once at that realization, the next decision was easy as we all have droid system phones and we would already know the system. The apps we would need, would already be downloaded or easy enough to access. We really like this Samsung S2 as it's the perfect screen size for sharing when we're finally sitting together for a meal or late evening. It's so incredibly easy to use as we are all so familiar with the droid system. I do not have one complaint against so far as it has been reliable every time we've turned it on. No frozen screens as my S6 phone will do frequently, no split screens, nothing bizarre! Yes, I would recommend this if you are simply looking for a reference and you are not going to need a device to do heavy typing from!

Great tablet with cool features. I bought this on sale and have no regrets. It has a good processor and is easy to use. Screen is vibrant and I like the Microsoft products so I can use for work and play. Also very thin and fits in a purse nicely.

With so many tablets on the market, it was very difficult to decide which would be the best option for my transition into graduate school. Productivity was at the top of my list. All signs pointed to getting a tablet that functioned as a laptop, but size and weight was most important to me. This tablet fulfilled all my needs. It is very slim and light. The colors are brilliant and the transitions are amazing from screen to screen. I can open many programs on it as well. The fact that it comes with Microsoft Office apps is a plus. It connects to a bluetooth keyboard with ease. When I'm not working, I play around with social media apps, online blogs, entertainment videos, and even play a few games on it...just to wind down. There is no lag or distortion in anything I run. I'd highly recommend this tablet to anyone for business or pleasure.

Bought this for my mother for christmas, and she couldn't be happier. Perfect weight and size, speed is top notch, champagne color is spot on. And overall performance blows other Android tablets out of the water.
