A: Greetings, thank you for finding the time out of your bustling day to ask us your question about the Samsung Galaxy Watch8. Yes, the advertised Galaxy Watch8 utilizes sensors to detect significant changes in motion patterns indicative of a fall. When a hard fall is detected, the watch will alert you with vibrations and a sound for 60 seconds, giving you the option to cancel the active alert or send an SOS message to your emergency contacts. If no response is received within that 60-seconds, the watch will automatically send an SOS message with your location to pre-set emergency contacts and can also initiate a call to them. If you have additional questions for us, feel free to reach out to Support. Thank you for being a dedicated Samsung customer. - Debra

Customers have good things to say about the Galaxy Watch8 Aluminum Smartwatch's features and overall performance, citing its functionality and appealing design. Many appreciate its comfort and ease of use. However, a common complaint centers around the battery life, with users wishing for longer duration between charges. The included two years of free data and texting is not mentioned in the customer feedback.

I am in love with my watch. I needed it for tracking my health, and so far, it's doing great. However, I'm unsure about the Wi-Fi functionality because my watch doesn’t receive any notifications when I'm not near my phone. Additionally, I dislike having to charge my watch every night; if I change the watch face to a fancier design, I have to charge it twice a day. Other than these two issues, I have no problems, and the watch size is perfect for me. Perfect for me.

So the watch look, feel, battery and everything looks amazing. But the free 2 year data and texting comes with a catch, so you won't be given any additional number to this service, and your primary phone needs to be on and in network at all times to send text and make or receive calls from the watch. I understand there are other watch services with network which uses the same number as yours, but this is different. I sometimes have to put my phone on flight mode or turn it off, But I expect my watch to do its job. But it doesn't And I also understand that it's not Samsung's fault, it's just the promotion terms with Google Fi they have. But overall it's a good watch.
