I had a Z Flip3 and while it was amazing phone on the anesthetic side, the battery was atrocious. I then went for the iPhone 13 Pro Max, which has great hardware and amazing battery life. When the Fold4 came out, I was amazed at how it looked and I knew I had to get one. I use the cover screen most of the time but the convenience of having a bigger screen for streaming and gaming makes the experience of having a phone like this is amazing. So far, I love this phone. There are some apps that do not work properly but it's expected for a phone like this. Samsung did partner with many companies to develop apps specifically for the Fold4 and Flip4. You can adjust the screen size for the apps but in some cases, the app won't work properly or the app will restart when switching to the cover screen. I mostly use Instagram and while you can use it on the bigger screen, it works better in the cover screen. My IG stories do come out a bit weird. As for the battery life, it is great for a foldable. Most of the time, I get about 10 hours of battery life. Sometimes I get almost 12. Even when I'm watching YouTube or playing Real Racing 3, the battery life still holds up. Nothing crazy like the 13 Pro Max, but still great for a foldable. As for the OS, it uses Android 12L, which is Android 12 optimized for foldables and tablets. I love the taskbar. It gives you quick access to the apps tray and your recent apps. Almost feels like an iPad or Windows. I am glad Samsung is pushing Google to do this because while the Galaxy Tab S-series may have amazing specs, the user experience and app support is abysmal compared to iPadOS. Multitasking is phenomenal. It may be a gimmick like Facebook splitting the screen with Facebook Messenger, but it's a convenience. The cameras are the same ones found on the S22 and S22+. They take great pictures but when it comes to video, the iPhone has the upper hand. That is always the case with any Android. Nightography is a nice feature but it does come out a bit blurry. The iPhone and Pixel have a better night mode. This phone is just an improvement from the Fold3, so I wouldn't really recommend it to Fold3 users. I would recommend it to older Fold users, Flip users, or anyone new to foldables, especially those who multitask a lot.

Compared to Fold 3: phone battery life has been increased quite noticeably. The front screen display increase make the front screen alot more usable. Screen quality seems a little more clear and smooth. It runs a little faster. Cameras seem to be better as well. Just wish the pen could be integrated into phone like note or the ultra models

Different for sure.. nothing about it is bad its just a phone that has a certain type of taste ..its not a phone for everyone. Everyone would agree its cool and different but theres nothing about it that i feel it should be over a thousand dollars.

Good quality as expected from Samsung, but when you open it you don't get the full screen, you get wide berders, which defeat the purpose of the phone

If this was $500 device I would have given 4 start but no its a $1800 device which I got for $1600 with discounts. First of all from the point of view of look and feel, great device, aesthetic, look and feel, all excellent. Camera great. But this is the most expensive phone, it should not have any issues. First of all the middle of screen icons are hard to click, takes almost 5 attempts. Use the front screen and open the main folded screen , the screen freezes. Apps does not open on time and gets stuck. This all happened with 3 days of use and very little load, just phone text and email. No heavy load. I got afraid, I am spending that much money and all this is happening from the start. Believe me I am not being overly critical, I have been user of Samsung Note from Note 1 to Note 3, Note 5 and currently using Note 8 but as I said this is a $1800 device. If Samsung wants that money, it has to make a device that expensive almost flawless. It's hard for me to imagine that it will be able to handle the wear and tear of time and loading of apps and usage, so I had to return it.

Its a great phone that is innovate by today's phone market. The screen is punchy and vibrant. All in all it sounds good, right? Wrong.. My issue is the main screen. Its just too narrow. If it has a S22 ultra front screen it would have my vote. The aspect ratio is too narrow. Apps like instagram still haven't adapted to these screens. Innovate for sure but, still has a long way to go to be a mainstream device.

Terrible terrible terrible. 3 weeks and the screen already broke on the inside. It is away for repairs now. Looks cool but isn't really. Samsung is fixing it but I'm not rough on my phones at all and super sad at the quality I got for the price I paid. Not sure how long it will last without breaking again since it litterly just cracked from opening it up.

You have in this device the best of both worlds, a tablet and phone and a very powerful multipurpose tool.
