Good pick
This SSD did what is expected for my PS5. Setup was easy and over-doubled my internal storage. I purchased a geek squad certified refurbished stick because it was a much lower price. The connectors had a little bit of wear from what I suspect someone tried jamming it into their computer/console. It has worked perfectly and have not had any issues.

Stay away from "certified" refurbished
Stay away from any refurbished product from best buy. When i recieved the memorg stick the girst thing i noticed, obviously, was the abysmal condition of the box. Absolutely destroyed. Now that should have been a clue of things to come. When i pulled the stick from the box i immediately noticed visible damage, as if it had been drug behind a car or something. I continued to inspect and found that it seemed the top half of the stick had been removed/replaced ad there were giant globs of glue holding it together. To top it all off whatever toddler they allowed to "refurbish" this item had glued it on backwards so you couldnt install even if you wanted to. Now the fun part is when i tried to return the item. I missed the window by 1 day, a single freakin day, so they're solution was to extort me for more money to become a "pro member" or something like that. "It extends your return window" the brainlet at customer service explained. So let me get this straight, i now need to pay YOU to take back the BUSTED item i paid you for for in the first place!? Yep! Thats what theyre doing now. Best Buy's "certified" status means nothing. They clearly have imbeciles working in that department, among others in my experience as well. Dont buy. 0/5 stars.

Amazing Speed and Performance
Love the speed. My PC has never been faster. All programs load faster than ever before and the PC boots and shuts down in the blink of an eye. I upgraded to the 990 Pro after having a Samsung 970 Evo, and it makes an incredible difference. It is worth the upgrade. The only advice I have is that with the 990 Pro, before you install the OS you should update the firmware to the latest version to avoid any of the issues. You can do this by using the free Samsung Magician software. It's very easy. Originally, this drive had an issue with its health being depleted fairly quickly within only about a month of use. However, this has been solved by Samsung already by simply doing a firmware update on the drive. I love how it comes with a light and a heatsink. You can customer the light to the color you want. It looks great on my gaming PC and it was not much more expensive than the previous 980 pro NVME model.
