Pros - Great price when on sale - Plays Blu-Rays perfectly - very slim and compact - Comes with remote - Top notch packing Cons - No batteries included - the Remote was dirty and scratched up - Does not support 3D - Does not support Wi-Fi (most cable boxes have an ethernet port on the back of them and you could just connect an ethernet port to the back of both and it will work this way)

I normally don't buy refurbs but took a chance on this one. So far it has played all of the new blu rays that I bought and a few of the dvds I already own. This is my first blu ray player so I don't have much to compare it to but I'm glad I saved money buying this player since it looks brand new and the remote also looks new and it plays great. One thing to note is that it Does Not have wifi capabilities....you have to use a network cable from your router to the player to use the online functions. I didn't need the player to stream netflix etc since I have chromecast....I just wanted something to play dvds and blu rays.

We got this player for my toddlers bedroom, so he could watch his own movies in his room (like a big boy). We got open box so we knew that there could a little damage or something missing. There was no damage but the HDMI cord was missing, luckily we had plenty of our own. We discovered it has app capability as well. We got it to connect to hulu once before but having trouble getting it to connect again. That could very well be a problem within our own internet though. Our main reason for seeking one out was just to play dvds and blue rays in his room and it does that great :D We are big Samsung fans and we still are.

I usually do not buy referb electronics but this was such a good buy I gave it a chance. The product does not appear to have any defects and I suspect that it was returned by someone who was not happy that it was wired only and has no wifi. I only use the player for playing blu ray discs and it lives up to what I need and did not cost a lot of money (actually less that the price for many DVD players).

This refurbished blu ray player is a great deal. The discs do occasionally become ajar in the tray when ejecting ( which maybe why it was sent back for refurb) but the price can't be beat!

This Samsung unit is fairly basic in that its design is minimalist to the point it doesn't even display an ON or OFF light. However, it makes up for this by its ability to play multiple formats of discs (Blu-Ray, DVD, CD-ROM, CDs, etc). Versatile little unit with clear picture quality and remote for easy playback commands, and it's fully HDMI compatible (no RCA plug or other source adapter options so caveat emptor here). Docked it a star for the missing power indicator light - yeah, kinda want to know whether a device is ON or OFF - and the limited input/output cable cord options. Otherwise solid system overall.

I ordered this my sister and I realize it was refurbished but it had no instructions, no cables, no remote. She had no idea what to with it. It would be nice if they told you that when they sold it to you.

This Blu Ray does exactly what is supposed to do. Plays Blu Rays and gives you the availability to watch Netflix and Amazon without having to buy a Roku Box, Amazon Fire Stick, or any of the other smart devices on the market. The interface is a little slow and designed weird. My biggest complaint is the lack of light on the front of the Blu Ray Player. You have no idea if it is on or not. Overall I recommend this product even with its faults due to the price.

Had this blue-ray for months and it still plays like new. The only thing I wish it had was a lighted power button so I can tell if the unit in on or off.

Samsung is a good brand and this blu-ray player is very good. Has lasted a long time. Plays great.

We were looking for a cheap Blu-ray player without all of the bells and whistles. This one was the right price and so far has been great. My only complaint is that you can’t even tell when it is on; there is no light indicator, which seems strange to me. If you’re looking for a basic Blu-ray without spending a ton, this is a good option.

Love samsung products. Easy hook up. Has netflix and pandora already on there.

This was bought to replace a worn out Blu Ray player from another manufacturer. This was bought to use with a Samsung Smart TV, so the online capabilities were not needed so I have not had to connect it to a wired network. It does however integrate nicely with the Samsung TV and only one remote is necessary for operation. Picture quality and speed of operation are great.

Blu Ray, wifi, and apps can't really beat it for the price. Works well.

This Samsung Blu-Ray Player is an incredible bargain as are many of the Geek Squad Certified tech. You may need a few minutes to download manuals (if not included) or you might even need a cheap universal remote but if you know a bit about the tech you will have an excellent bargain.

When I'm not streaming shows to watch and just want to turn to my DVD and Blu-Ray collection this has been a solid piece of equipment with no translation issues between formats. Recommended.

The player arrived in great condition, no complaints there. It's not as user friendly as I'd like it to be, but all in all, I'm happy.
