zero stars for bestbuy The watch functions great. Just as good as my Apple Watch was, I recently defected from Apple and I have to say everything from the always on display to the MST that is on the S3 but not on the galaxy is years ahead of apple. Battery life is better than my series 2 apple watch and the watch takes my HR every 10mins... this is great tech. Tons of quantifiable workout data right on the main screen if you need it. I bought this watch refurbished. The unit I received has a scratched and bent bezel...it works but I really dont believe this is a refurbished unit... definitely used but not refurbished. The watch was all dusty and dirty like it was never cleaned off... I've purchased refurbished items previously but I must say after this purchase I will definitely give refurbs a second thought - especially with bestbuy. I'm keeping it because I just dont want to go through the hassle of returning the watch ... the watch functions great, the most bezel is just a lil messed up, scratched and dented.

Impressive wearable, I'm waiting for more utility software like a integrated cámara for video conferences on live. Do you listening about Dick Tracy detective from '60s?

After reading reviews I was a little scared to buy refurbished because there were alot of mixed reviews. I decide to try my luck and went for it. I bought 2 watches they both came in great condition and I love all the features the watch offers. Definitely really happy with my purchase!

More like a USED item. Finish missing on dial. Screen has visible spot. Dried skin cells on band. Disgusting. NOTHING in package but the watch and a charger. Not even a pamphlet. This is supposed to be like new. I understand missing packaging but this is shameful. Arrived dead. How can it be refurbed if dead. Not even going to bother setting it up. This is used merchandise with visible wear, like flea market quality. Does not match your definition of refurbished. Save yourself the disappointment and buy it new. Sad and disappointing and going back.

Even though it is Bestbuy refurbished, seems like brand new with very reasonable priced.

I wanted a smart watch but didn't like the apple design. This watch works great with my iPhone. I can't reply to text messages but that is due to apple blocking their app. It does a good job recording steps except for when I push a cart or stroller. It thinks I am riding a bike. Wish it could figure out I am not going fast enough and adjust for it.

I bought a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier Smartwatch by online, but it arrived damaged with big and deep scratch in the smartwatch area (I send the picture). Also around the scratch area is damaged too in the surface. It was a Refurbished product that I both online, but I was not advised before the purchase that the product had a big damage and it was not in the site described. I will be returning it today in the Best Buy store most close to my house. I was my first refurbished purchase in only Best Buy (unfortunately no good experience).

I bought this in Feb 2018 and I still love it! I bought a different band on Amazon that makes it look more feminine. I love that it's round not square like the apple watches. I would recommend this to all Samsung users. I get so many compliments on it!

I've had this for 3 weeks and I am very satisfied. Had a Apple watch and in comparison it just didnt do it for me. The Gear 3 has IMHO better looks, function and what I need. Im a gym rat, and wanted something tuff and fairly accurate. So far so good. I also use it at work too. The step counter and challenges are fun.My only complaint is that Samsung does not seem do anything about the cheaters on the challenges. Otherwise my only advice is get a band that breaths.

Bought this when I had a galaxy and it was fantastic no complaints, Great battery, great functionality save for gps guidance which is non existent If you have an iPhone it’s seriously hobbled and battery life becomes pretty lack luster.

This one hits the sweet spot, if you can get over the size. I love the look. It's rugged but sleek. The battery lasts longer than you'd think, especially if you can top it off occasionally using the increasingly ubiquitous charging pads that work with your phone and watch, rather than just the watch. The GPS works well so you can ditch your phone and just go for a run, although it takes a little while longer to lock in on a signal than when paired with your phone. As I said though, it's big. I sometimes have trouble getting tight jacket sleeves or sweaters over it. Occasionally have to just take it off rather than futzing with the sleeve. They slimmed down the Galaxy Watch, but it costs a lot more, and does the same thing as the frontier. Seems like an easy call.

This watch has everything I need and more. The fitness tracker really comes in handy when I exercise. The display is sharp and clear. I can also customize the display. The rotating bezel makes scrolling through menus very convenient. I turn my watch off at night and I easily can get 4 days use before the next charge. Charging is also quick.

This review isn't really about the product, but about the Geek Squad Certified Refurbished stamp. I ordered the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier Smartwatch. But when it arrived, it would not connect because it had a "ReActivation Lock" on it. This was very obvious when starting up the product. All the Geek Squad person had to do was power on the unit and they would have seen that this product was not serviceable. According to several tech forums, this was a common problem when the watch was first released, but legitimate Retailers (like Best Buy) should now have a process for fixing it before they send it out. I called the Customer noService number, and the first rep I spoke to could not grasp the problem, but she transferred me to someone else who determined that the only resolution was to send out another product. She said it would be shipped One-Day, which meant it should have arrived yesterday, but the tracking number now says it should arrive tomorrow. Additionally, while the unit had no scratches or dings, it was very dirty, probably from being worn for at least several days (or longer). I had to clean it up before I was able to actually put it on.

I love the watch but the battery doesn't last as long as I expected. No problem with it lasting all day but I have to charge it every night. Watch looked brand new and it works quite fine. It doesn't count flights of stairs too accurately however. I like the stand alone features for pictures and music. My LG headphones hooked to the watch and music is very good quality. Overall I have no real problems with the watch and am enjoying it.

So like most said on here, you only get the watch with the large and small straps, the charger and cable. No box. Not a big deal as you can typically save $80-170 when buying refurbished. I bought it when it was $185. I was a little hesitant due to the reviews. I went ahead and bought it. It was in perfect condition (almost), there was a bit of dried sweat on the inside of the band but everything else was excellent. BUT... the battery was terrible, it was laggy, and the bezzel felt very loose. I talked to BestBuy and they sent me a replacement (refurbished still) and it was perfect, had a very small unnoticeable scratch on the bezel but the battery life and performance where much better. I would definitely recommend getting the refurbished on sale in order to sale a ton of money. I would not have bought it if it wasn't on sale. I am still in between this and my Fossil Q (Android Wear). There are pro and cons to each, but I use this one for sleeping and every day use. The Fossil is more for when I am dressing up a bit or going out. The battery and the bezel are really what separate this thing from Android Wear. Although AW (Android Wear) has a few more useful and customizable apps/launchers. S voice is quite terrible, Google obviously wins this one. Other than that I am quite happy with this watch, just wish that I could use it for swimming like I do with my Garmin Fenix. I would definitely get some nice watchbands on Amazon for this, as well as a screen protector just in case. The bezel is replaceable btw, so after a while you can simply put in a new one.

Pros: Bezel is the most intuitive way to interact with a smart watch. Alternatively, nice addition of buttons and a touch screen is a plus. Screen is crisp and clear, easy to read. Always on display makes the watch so much more functional as a real watch. Design and form is best in class. Ability to pay from watch means you can pretty much leave your wallet at home. Cons: App Store is severely crippled. Running GPS, music and a workout will deplete battery rapidly. Health app could use some work. Wish always on display would stay on when recording a workout. Bluetooth connectivity inconsistent at times. At first I wasn’t too thrilled with this watch not because of the hardware but because of the software. The App Store is weak and your pretty much limited to what Samsung has to offer. After a couple of weeks of use, I realized you only really need the essentials and if your willing to live with that this a recommended buy. Got this refurbished from Best Buy and the watch was in good condition except for some manly cologne fragrance that remained on the wristband from a previous owner I presume.

This watch is made very well and feels great on my wrist. The display is sharp and the rotating bezel and side buttons make navigating the menu a breeze. I wore the watch everyday for 3 weeks, but ended up getting the LG sport watch for mostly one reason, s voice. Samsung Gear uses S voice, and when I would reply to text it never got my message correct. I use Google Voice and Siri all the time and hardly even have an issue, since I use a Galaxy S8 as my phone I had to get an Android Wear watch so I could use Google Voice to reply to my text with voice recognition that actually worked. I think the Samsung Gear is an excellent watch, it just did not do what I needed it to. Samsung Gear uses tizen on this watch instead of Android, so it also has limited apps.

I got a little contact dermatitis after the first solid week of wearing it, I'll eventually get a new band. Like everyone else, I want more apps, like the Apple Watch. I'm getting used to it, I love the look and the battery lasts 2.5 days for me instead of 3.

I picked this up on deal of the day. It was clean and works just like a new one. the watch is a little on the big side if you have small wrists but i do not... this was my second refurb watch from best buy and both have worked like a charm.
