It has been a good device so far, it came with 2 wires, to connect to the phone (C input) and normal USB input.

good refurbished deal. on my iphone 15 pro max, write speed test number is close to those from macbook pro, read speed is bit slower

I really like this SSD, runs fast and looks good. Ifs perfect for PS4 gaming and a lot more cost efficient compared to the “gaming SSDs”

Bought 2 - Returned 2 Both drives didn’t work. Tried on multiple computers with multiple cables (On the positive side - Returning them to my local Best Buy was very easy)

Awesome portable drive! Super fast and rugged looking. . I use it exclusively for editing & transferring videos on an iPad Pro (with measly 256gb internal) and it is fast enough to edit the 4k video files directly from the drive itself. The caveat is to reformat the drive with 1 partition. You will delete any preinstalled software or security methods. After that, you’re all set!

I’ve been using the Samsung T7 Shield for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The transfer speeds are incredibly consistent, even when handling large 4K video files or massive photo libraries. What really sets it apart is the build quality—the rubberized outer shell gives me peace of mind when I’m traveling or working in less-than-ideal conditions. It’s compact enough to fit in a pocket but feels tough enough to survive a drop. If you need a reliable drive that balances speed with extreme durability, this is definitely the one to get. 10/10 would recommend!

Great, small & fast. I couldn’t get it to be recognized by my windows computer til I hooked it up to my tablet & reformatted it. Then my computer recognized it & I reformatted it like my regular ssd. They really need to fix that. Just for that I knocked 2 stars for that mess. But runs great & super fast now. Smh

The drive I received was 100% like new. That included the drive itself, 2 cables, and the packaging. I appreciate the $50 savings over new. Note the drive needed to be initialized before it was recognized by my computer. Download Samsung Magician software to do this, as it has a lot of other features to support this drive. To initialize the drive, you will need to choose a format and partition the drive before it will show up for use. This is likely the source of many of the negative reviews here. I also updated the firmware right away. My drive showed a total of 1.8TB of data having been written when I received it, which is the actual capacity. This is probably because Best Buy wiped the drive before re-sale. Samsung Magician can also test the drive, benchmark it, confirm it is genuine, track total data write history, and monitor the working temperature, among other features.

Software is broken. Windows glitches. I do not suggest using this or the T5 for a storage space on windows pc's because once I did it and afterwards my pc would not connect to them... (hard resets might fix this issue but it did not work on my pc). If you want this SSD for an android device then go for it!!!

Bought geek squad refurbished and ran a disk check on the drive, its brand new, only powered on once. Drive is amazing and fast, just what i needed to expand my storage

it's fast and easy use. At first I had difficulty of using it on my Mac Book, and I realize that it's formatted to a Microsoft computer. I just plugged it in and reformat it to my mac book. easy!

I got the 2tb storage which gives me a lot of room to save important files lile photos and videos. You can add password on it for additional security.

This portable SSD is fantastic. Quick enough to import/export my photos and videos for my needs. And its size is just right. I would recommend to anyone.

Excellent purchase for my needs - I'm a videographer that needs to capture long events - the Samsung t7 shield has been my go-to for a while now, and it has always given me the ability shoot video and directly edit the project on the drive.

So far so good, bought this refurbished unit and it is working well and getting the job done.I like the materials and I enjoy the product.

A great product I use it on the daily and able to properly store videos and any extra unwanted maybe little less unimportant data on here.
