Q: Approximately how many hours does the battery last on one charge under normal use?
A: I am getting anywhere from 7-10 hours depending on what I am doing and screen brightness. With normal productivity use, suggested brightness, battery saver, chrome browser with 2 tabs, and a few OneDrive libraries syncing I get about 8.5 hours. The laptop also supports quick charging and USB-C charging.
A: They are for changing the tips of your S-pen! Your tweezers should have also come with 5-6 extra S-pen nubs.
Q: RAM Upgradeable? Interested in the smaller form 13", however, would like to have 16GB RAM.
A: No - the RAM is soldered onto the motherboard and not able to be upgraded.
A: Both have same specs but I would recommend the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro 13" since its recently launched. I would also suggest to wait until new series comes in with 8th generation processors.
Q: Do the fans come on often? Are they noisy?
A: The fans come on when pushing the machine, but are not very loud. In normal productivity use, the system is quiet.
Q: SSD type? Anyone know if this is SATA, PCIe, or NVME?
A: just opened this machine up - ssd is a samsung pm871 - m.2 / sata III drive. i replaced mine with a 850 evo 1tb model sata III from amazon.
Q: How memory is taken up by the OS i.e. how much of the 256 GB are we actually getting?
A: it looks like it took up 40.7 GB. I had no idea it would take up that much space.
Q: Is the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro 13.3 compatible with the Wacom Bamboo Ink pen?
A: I tried and was able to get ink buttons to function as with other laptops but no luck actually writing with Bamboo.
