controls are anti-intuitive and don't work well. To turn off the timer, you have to reach across the stove to the back (over the top of cooking food, not safe) to hold the button down for three seconds; a ridiculous way to go. bread proofing setting is pointless because it is far too hot.

Needing to reach over hot food just to turn off a timer disrupts the cooking process and takes away from a smooth, comfortable experience. We would love to provide information on Samsung ranges.
There are two types of range models with Samsung, these are Freestanding models and Slide-In models. You have purchased a Freestanding range model where the controls are located at the back versus a Slide-In range where the controls are found at the front portion. I have shared a Samsung link below that you can visit to check on Slide-In ranges currently in our lineup.

The temperature of bread proofing for this range model does not exceed 95°F. Anything more than that, the range will show a "Hot" alarm on the control panel. In addition, we recommend using rack position 3 when bread proofing.

Very nice looking range! Looks great in our kitchen. Has a built-in air fryer which was a must-have for my beautiful wife!

My wife loves to bake and the convection oven works great. The air fry option is also a plus. Love the smart integration. Over all Great product for the price
