You don't expect to charge your Note 10+ a lot faster, maybe just by a difference of minutes when chraging 0-80 (80-100 should be all the same anyway). Didn't fry myself, as I'm actually a S10+ holder, but that's the truth. The reason I chose this is because I'm gonna use it for my iPad Pro 10.5 and a discount-to-come Surface Pro 7. Proven perfect w/ the iPad, gonna see how things will go with the surface. It feels good for texture, and the cable is strong-built. Though I still doubt a bit if Samsung should charge $50 for something that's not necessarily better than original adapter, at least as intended for your shiny Galaxy Note 10+. Maybe it works better when S11 comes out, will see. As of Nov 2019, I would say this is more fancy than essential for 90% of the people, who use it mostly for phone, instead of a universal PD adapter which happens to be highly Samsung-compatible.

I needed another adapter because the one that came with my phone was European. This was the best priced one I could have gotten and I'm happy I stuck with the brand my phone was. It works just the way it's supposed to, and it also came with a cord that I was not expecting so that a plus.
