A: Yes HDR will work with xbox x, but this Samsung model doesnt have hdr. I bought it for the x though and it works pretty good for xbox in my opinion.

A: It works well with my MacBook Pro via a USB-C to HDMI adapter as well as an USB-C to mini display port adapter. I didn't use it much with my laptop as it was purchased to be the second monitor for my iMacPro.
