This black strip appeared in the middle of the display this morning. It's a large vertical line that covers the OSD. Changing the source computer and cables (DP and HDMI) did not help. I had to contact Samsung for a warranty service because we bought it in November 2023. Before this, it was a very good monitor for work. The extra space is excellent for productivity. I would have recommended it before today.

I’ve been using the Samsung ViewFinity S6 34” Ultra Wide Curved Monitor for a while now, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my setup. The 1000R curve really draws me in, and the QHD resolution offers crisp, vibrant visuals whether I’m working, gaming, or watching movies. The ultrawide screen is perfect for multitasking, letting me keep multiple windows open without feeling cramped. Gaming on this monitor is smooth, thanks to the 100Hz refresh rate and FreeSync. The wider field of view adds a new level of immersion to my games. Overall, the Samsung ViewFinity S6 has exceeded my expectations, delivering a great mix of productivity and entertainment.

A wonderfully clear monitor. Hard to work with the full width of the screen, but individual windows can be opened on the screen, which makes it very easy. The controls are a little confusing. Photographs and videos are gorgeous.

I've been very happy with this monitor. I chose this monitor for 1 feature - USB-C connection with 90W-charging. I was overjoyed when I plugged in my HP laptop and it charged. The HP's are known to be picky about which chargers they will accept, and this monitor does it perfectly. I use the monitor for work, but I suppose it could be used for gaming even though it's not billed as a gaming monitor. The screen is bright (with eye saver capability), richly-colored, and clear. It also offers several inputs so it easily connects to most devices. I wish it had a DisplayPort Output to allow for daisy chaining.

Cracked my previous generation Samsung 34" curved monitor, so when this one went on a nice sale, I snapped this up: mistake. While it was fine with an HDMI display, it wouldn't transmit via USB-C. After an hour-long remote Geek Squad session and then another 90-minute troubleshooting session in store, I gave up and returned this after only four days. So disappointed. Won't make the mistake of assuming the next generation of tech is better again....

This monitor has a very good image and color quality. I really like that it is curved, makes viewing what's at the edges more orientated to the direction of your eyes. It's also pretty sturdy and doesn't need a monitor stand since adjusting the height/tilt is very easy.

Perfect monitor for work. I work from home and replaced my double monitors. No need for a docking station for multiple screens; just one HDMI cable. Great for viewing project schedules, wide spreadsheets, and multitasking. The stand is high and puts the screen at eye level. Very big screen for work, but not too big. Just the right size.

Nice screen for business work station. Wide format is great for excel spreadsheets and other database type applications.

The picture was great - but 3 different monitors came with multiple dead pixels exchange after exchange. I contacted Samsung and they suggested I buy directly from them to ensure "better quality". I ended up going with an LG IPS screen instead.

A truly beautiful piece of hardware - but it shipped with a few dead pixels. Unfortunately, I received it as a gift, and wasn't able to return it since I opened it up after the return period. Best Buy should make som accomodations for these unique situations

[Employee of bestbuy] Honestly, over all impressed with the monitor. It glitches out from time to time when I have it on HDR mode. There have been on and off issues with the Ethernet port not passing through to my laptop properly as well. The image itself it great for a 1440P monitor. Over all happy with it.

What the monitor thinks is black is definitely not what I think is black. Maybe more of a medium gray? I messed with the contrast and brightness controls, but no luck correcting it. The bottom half inch or so is also markedly dimmer than the rest of the monitor. Maybe I got a bad unit. I'm returning it.

Excellent ultra wide monitor. I use it to game and it has 100hz display rate. Itis also very bright.

This monitor looks no great when it works. Which makes it even more disappointing when it doesn't. I tried 3 different HDMI cables and 2 USB-C cables across every port in my machine. No matter what setup I used the screen flashed and flickered like every 10 seconds. I don't know if I got a lemon or what, but I'm really upset.
