This Sandisk is a key back up for numerous files and pictures including chapters for a memoir and is attached to my desktop, which was getting too full. This is an external drive ported into my desktop. I hadn't realized how small these things are now. But as my current desktop is in the bottom nook of my desk, next to the printer, I worry about accidentally kicking the the front of my exposed computer's front inputs. To remedy this, I cut up some wooden yard sticks and slid them into wood screws supporting tops and bottom. They remove if I need to pull the computer out for cleaning the area or plugging other things in. The vulnerability of of the sandisk on a short cable and its normal and easy plug-in to desk to the port was solved. Perhaps I could have bought and external cable to situate it elsewhere under my desk, but this set up is working fine. There have been no problems with the Sandisk and I'm glad to have this amount of storage and backup to all my files.

Worked very well on a HP Pro Mini 400 G9 that had the stock NVMe failing and causing BSODs. This replacement is working like a champ, even in that enclosed chassis which traps heat like there's no tomorrow. Very happy with it!

This SSD went into my laptop easier than I expected. After getting online, Windows loaded and I had my laptop back. It's crazy fast now. Definitely recommend.

no new speed

My laptop was running very slow, Geek squad said I needed this added and it would speed it up, I bought it and it did nothing for the speed and I'm out $160.00 and a slow labtop.
