Q: Will the scan disc ultra 128 GB 3.1 USB TYPE-C Flash drive work on galaxy s7
A: I don't own a galaxy s7 anymore but I would have to say that it won't work since the s7 does not have a type C connector.
Q: Can I use this to transfer files between a MacBook Pro and a windows pc?
A: YES, its formatted, by default, in FAT32. This means its entirely cross compatible with MacOS, Windows, Android, and basically everything else. However if you will have to reformat the device if you want to transfer files larger than 2gb.
Q: Can this be used to back up files from an android phone including the notepad etc?
A: You can copy anything from your phone, just use a file explorer.
Q: will this work on the new samsung galaxy ultra note
A: yes it will
Q: Can I use this flash drive with my Samsung Galaxy J3 Phone to transfer to an iMac G5?
A: This unit will not plug directly into a J3 as I have both units and just tried it. If you have a wire that plugs into the phone with a female USB it might work but I cant verify as I do not have that, however I did find them selling for about $5 on the internet. I have no experience with an iMax G5 so I can't comment on that.
A: Yes, I just plugged mine into my Galaxy S8, Mount it and copy files. I used the built-in "My Files" app.
Q: Can this be used with the USB type C port of an HP Chromebook, i.e. with ChromeOS?
A: Yes, Yes it can and it takes advantage of the faster transfer speeds
