    LOVE THIS ITEM!

    I use both a 2016 MacBook Pro and PCs for work and personal reasons and this device is just awesome when you need move files around. If you're thinking of getting one and you need both USB-C and USB - go for it!

    Reliable flash drive

    Needed to download photos and data from 2 cell phones and 2 tablets. This Sandisk Ultra USB 3.1 type C flash drive did the trick. Easy to use and for me, 64 GB was adequate. Others may need more. Well worth the cost.

    Excellent Thumb Drive

    After buying a new MacBook with USB-C connection, I was excited to see that this product existed. Not only would it increase the storage capacity of my MacBook by 50% (128GB hard drive and 64 GB flash drive), but the dual connection allows me to seamlessly transfer files back and forth from my old MacBookPro, my PC desktop computer at work, and my new MacBook. When plugged in with the USB-C connection, data transfer is incredibly fast. The only thing remotely negative that I have noticed is that the flash drive does get quite warm with even short periods of use. It hasn't posed any issue yet, but I keep that in the back of my mind and make sure I backup all my files to an external hard drive just in case it burns out one day. But so far, so good!

    Everything I needed to store/transfer files

    I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro and needed a memory stick compatible with the laptop and my PC work computer. I liked the ability to use the device to store and transfer files to/from my PC/Macbook. The product is easy to use and has not had any glitches so far. It worked much better than the adapter I tried to use to transfer files.

  • Ok, I see the USB C for the phone. How is that going to connect to my laptop for file transfer? I don't have a USB C connector on my laptop?

    Open the other side - it is regular USB-A. This is a Dual adapter. One side for phone with USB-C & other side with USB-A for laptop.

  • Does this work with the Iphone 8 or Iphone X? They both have USB-C drives I believe.

    I bought this USB drive for my Samsung Galaxy tablet s3, it works very well with the C type USB port. I'm not sure it will work with the iPhone 8 and X because I don't know they still using Lightning port or changed to type C port yet, but SanDisk do make a C type iXpand drive for Apple device.
