This is a very nice desk. The color is a little darker than the picture, but not a bad color at all. It took about an hour and a half to put together with some frustrating moments, as most DIY'ers have every once in a while. Very sturdy and heavy actually, but very easy to transport, looks classy and functions well for a laptop and storage for mail or bills or wahtever your heart desires. I've always been happy with and bought almost everything furniture related through Sauder's products growing up near Archbold, Ohio, and this does not dissappoint.

[Employee of bestbuy] I love it, I primarily use it as a vanity to do my hair and makeup at. It doesnt have too much storage with only the 2 drawers, but I think its the perfect amount. Its also super easy to keep clean from any makeup spills, but definitely use a coaster for your drinks because condensation will ruin the surface if it sits too long!

Bought for wife as a gift and she loves it. Works great as writing desk and general use. It has many pieces and can take a bit to put together. I would recommend having someone assist for a few larger parts to get started.

Expensive, bad quality bad screws

I could put it together without making more holes on it. The screws where defective and was a mess. I couldnt return it because it was set up.
