After being the best-kept secret within the heavy side of blues rock, as part of the InchclosedInch blues scene for two decades, the band is now moving to Mighty Music and finally getting the recognition they deserve. InchScars To RememberInch is the tenth album from the Danish-based blues power trio, which has it's stylistic roots in the late '60s and '70s, with inspiration from bands/artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and others.Formed more than two decades ago and having played countless shows in those years, Blindstone hit it hard in the US, due to their sound, and released most of their albums on the American tag Grooveyard Records. Despite the long run, the band saw a turning point in their career when, in 2020, they were hired as the backing band for the blues legend Walter Trout, for a series of successful concerts around Denmark. This experience was a factor in inspiring the band to seek a slightly more direct and basic stylistic approach on their new album. The blues influence is particularly obvious in songs such asInchDown For The CountInch, InchWaste Your TimeInch and InchWorld Weary BluesInch.Blindstone has always worn it's influences on it's sleeves, and InchScars To RememberInch does indeed contain obvious tips of the hat to influences such as Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, Trout, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Gales, Jeff Healey, and others.

These are the highs and the lows, like the exquisite depression in a last lullaby sung from a black bottomless pit, presented to you by the Swedish electronic phenomenon Nanuh. Flanked at one corner of the debut album lies the true and the naked and in the other - the dark and suicidal. Between these rugged bookends lies the warm smell of a homemade apple pie. Everything spiced with a touch of sleepless nights, wondering days and loads of coffee. This is InchScarsInch - the debut album from Linköping Sweden based musician Lars Söderberg, a.k.a. Nanuh - which, in it's swirling depths and thoughts promises to be one of this year's surprises in the experimental electronic music department.

Captivating, glamorous and bold, Belle Scar is a distinctive singer-songwriter, producer and artistic director originally from Montreal but now based in London. Described by the New York Times as Incha creature from another dimension, she's phenomenal,Inch her dramatic, cinematic music is at times redolent of a Tim Burton film score and at others of a mash-up between Nick Cave, Björk and Portishead. InchI wrote 'Atoms' after my son was born, the aftermath of cancer in the family, life in the pandemic as well as acknowledging and accepting my continuing cognitive challenges,Inch explains Scar. InchThese songs are about my identity and trying to navigate the cycles of life, as well as my fascination with and awe of the universe, space and time in all it's mysterious ways.Inch Lockdown had afforded Scar the time to further develop her new material at home, while also reconnecting with her classical roots and reabsorbing music ranging from Erik Satie and Claude Debussy to The Velvets and The Doors, and from Nick Drake and Leonard Cohen to her beloved Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holiday. Adoring the magic inherent in film scores by composers such as Ennio Morricone, Danny Elfman and Philip Glass, she gravitated towards grander instrumentation and more complex arrangements for her new songs. Writing the music, lyrics and vocal arrangements, with Marc O adding orchestration and production, the duo have created a mesmerising album about finding meaning in life's beauty and darkness while navigating a path towards it's unknowable future
