Finally, it is here The continuation of the great musical adventure that the Camerata Musica Limburg is currently undertaking and for which we had to wait a whole year! The elite ensemble sings Franz Schubert's complete works for male choir with GENUIN. Three volumes have already been released. Once again, Jan Schumacher and his men will be joined by renowned musicians such as tenor Christoph Prégardien. The tonal palette of the clear and confidently intoned male voices ranges from the most gentle pleading of Gesangs der Geister to the vibrant radiance of a Schiller's Punschlied. The male vocal ensemble Camerata Musica Limburg was founded in 1999 and has since been under the direction of Jan Schumacher. For the members of the choir, the founding is a further development of the common musical roots that lie in the choir of the Limburg Domsingknaben. At the same time, the singers continue the unique tradition of the successful male chamber choirs of former Limburg Domsing boys in Germany. Album Tracks 1. Frühlingsgesang D 740 2. The supernatural drifts of the compositions brought together in this recording, served by the power and playing technique of Severine Ballon, reveal unexpected facets of expressiveness in the contemporary cello. Fully engaged in the renewal of its repertoire, Severine Ballon especially favors conversing and working with the composers, in the intimacy of the 'sound factory'. Having initiated numerous creations to which this recital admirably bears witness, here she offers us a tailor-made program in the heart of the compositional process. Once again, what could have been likened to risk-taking allows Severine Ballon to affirm, forcefully and with conviction, her artistic identity, her commitment and her very particular place in the world of the contemporary cello. Album Tracks 1. Solitude 2. La Bataille de Caresme Et de Charnage - Severine Ballon/Mark Knoop 3. Parjanya-Vata 4. Invisibility 5. Blackbird
