A fun scooby doo movie with some light twilight zone and other Hanna-Barbera references tossed in. This is basically Scooby Doo Meets Medieval Times.

Shaggy and the gang visit his ancestral home in England. When Mystery, Inc. is apparently thrown back in time to the court of King Arthur Shaggy pulls the sword out of the stone. Morgan Le Fay, Merlin, a tournament against the knights of the Round Table, and a dragon result. Along the way, Shaggy and King Arthur become best buds. The Mystery, Inc. characters behave exactly as you expect them to. There are the usual many alarms, excursions, and escapes. Both script and animation are the competently done production we have come to expect from Scooby Doo movies. There may be fewer plot twists here than in some other Scooby movies, but the ones present are worth watching the movie. I certainly was not expecting Thundarr the Barbarian. Not to mention the fire breathing frog among others.
