I am using this PSU with a Nvidia RTX 3070 Ampere GPU and AMD Ryzen 3700X CPU. I am also using braided cable extensions with this PSU for a cleaner look, however the stock cables are stealth black and would look just fine in most PC builds. Something to consider is the stock cables are on the stiffer side and hard to bend if you are going to try and hide them in a small midtower case, so a modular or semi-modular PSU may be a better option if you are a newer builder. New tariffs and inventory shortages meant up to a 30-50% increase in PSU prices from a year ago, so this Seasonic hit the price point for my new mid-tier budget PC build. I could have gone with a 750W or even 850W PSU, but I am not doing any extreme overclocking, and I would gladly take a 650W Seasonic over a less desirable brand with mildly more wattage. A five year warranty in a 'budget' supply is hard to come by, and says a lot about Seasonic's reputation. The biggest negative I can say about this PSU is unless your PC is located right next to your UPS/outlet, the included power cable is way too short. I did have to use a different power cable for this reason,

Excellent value for what you get. I had purchased this during the holiday special and it fit the bill perfectly. Most system builds these days do not need more than the 650W in my opinion unless you are running multiples cards and hard drives. Had it installed in my system for over 30 days and it has been working perfectly. The only thing that would had made it better would be that it was modular, but with my build I did not care and used most of the connectors anyways so it didn't bother me.

Seasonic products are usually across the board awesome and this non-modular job here is no different. It is quiet and stable. Working right now powering my office rig (non-gaming) with an older AMD FX-8350 (125 watts) on an Asrock 970 Extreme 4, containing 7 (1 TB) HDs in a MS Storage Pool. Graphics is an Nvidia GTX-1060. Plenty of power to spare. Great value for the $$

Sea sonic is one of the best manufacturers for power supplies. For a non modular power supply I think it’s a great buy due to the price and the 80+ bronze certification. If you have a budget build would totally recommend this power supply and it doesn’t come with ketchup and mustard cables. Overall I would recommend to others to buy this!

I like Seasonic power supplies. They are no frill and just work. And seriously, non-modular cables means you don't have to search for the one you need but did not install oh so long ago when you first built the system. Highly recommended.

Purchased to replace a low quality Raidmax 550w psu. Have not owned the Seasonic long at all Currently paired with a Ryzen 5 2600 | EVGA Gtx 1070 8GB, have not had any restarting issues or voltage irregularities even under load and also stays nice and cool! Although non-modular, has all black cables with protective sleeving and ample wire length. Sports flat cables only for SATA/Molex. When trying to flex the wires themselves, it can be rather stiff due to heat shrink placement.

Good Price. install real easy ,not a lot of loose wires. Replace an old power supply in my Lenovo K450.

Been Building PC's for 35 years... SEASONIS is the Best PSU manufacturer... PERIOD! Never have had a bad unit out of the hundreds I have placed in service... the pc will need upgraded WAY before the PSU!!

It's decent quality, hasn't exploded on me yet. Cables are nice, there's a lot of them. I think the inrush current on mine is tripping my outlet breaker, but I'm also pretty sure that it's only affecting the one breaker. Will update after some thorough testing.

I have had no trouble with this thing, my case has got a little cubby for the power supply so i can hide the extra cables, so no big deal that it wasn't modular, plenty of connections for all my SATA drives, and accessories. Really happy with this.

Running an i7-9700k and 1650 super. Really quiet. Probably cause it's not working too hard. We likely could've gotten by with half the wattage but this one was on sale.

Have used this Power Supply in two different builds and haven't had a problem. The black cables are nice and a great purchase.

Non modular so don’t expect it to be fun, but the all black connectors are a plus. Easy installation, good product.

Seasonic is a great brand but I would go for EVGA next time. It is one of the best producer of power supply but with my previous experience with it, I would permanently transfer to EVGA for my next power supplies. For some reason, the fan won’t stop spinning even though it stated the feature of DB Saver that if it is not on top load, it will not spin the fans. The power cord is also shorter compared to the other offerings. The packaging is also not the good with lack of proper paddings inside the box.
