Great accessory for #1 outdoor security camera
The Canary Flex comes with a magnetic base that you can set on a surface or mount on a wall. But I went ahead and got this Secure Mount because you can screw the Canary Flex into it. Both types of bases have swivel feature so you can angle the camera however you need to. I have it mounted on a tree in my front yard with the secure mount. The design is nice and discreet. I live out in the country and need to be able to monitor my property for trespassers, escaped livestock, package delivery, why my dog is barking, etc. The wireless feature on the Canary Flex is perfect for my use (away from the house and electric outlets). The app alerts me when battery is getting low so I can bring in for a quick and easy charge. It comes with its own hex wrench for unscrewing to take inside. The device, this extra mount and the subscription are worth every penny. The quality and all of the features and controls (the app is awesome!!) are even more than I hoped for.

The Secure Mount is must have
I hated that any person (or the wind) could knock off the camera from the magnetic mount. This prevents this. We built a box around the camera and not it's way more secure. (note: a standard hex wrench will attach/remove the camera)

Great purchase for security
For a do it yourself kinda person, this security camera is everything and more. Best part is monthly payments for keeping recordings and having Canery Camera's working properly is way cheaper then paying other security companies.
