The Canary Flex comes with a magnetic base that you can set on a surface or mount on a wall. But I went ahead and got this Secure Mount because you can screw the Canary Flex into it. Both types of bases have swivel feature so you can angle the camera however you need to. I have it mounted on a tree in my front yard with the secure mount. The design is nice and discreet. I live out in the country and need to be able to monitor my property for trespassers, escaped livestock, package delivery, why my dog is barking, etc. The wireless feature on the Canary Flex is perfect for my use (away from the house and electric outlets). The app alerts me when battery is getting low so I can bring in for a quick and easy charge. It comes with its own hex wrench for unscrewing to take inside. The device, this extra mount and the subscription are worth every penny. The quality and all of the features and controls (the app is awesome!!) are even more than I hoped for.

I hated that any person (or the wind) could knock off the camera from the magnetic mount. This prevents this. We built a box around the camera and not it's way more secure. (note: a standard hex wrench will attach/remove the camera)

For a do it yourself kinda person, this security camera is everything and more. Best part is monthly payments for keeping recordings and having Canery Camera's working properly is way cheaper then paying other security companies.

Good directions for installation , along with the proper mounting hardware included. Security for the camera and ease of adjustments.

This is a pretty simple review. You don't really have options when it comes to hanging your Canary Flex outside. It's really this or nothing. It was relatively easy to install. I only wish it had better angles for viewing. Also, more the Flex's fault but it can only be viewed in landscape mode (not portrait) which is annoying since my camera lays against a wall and points at a rear door which I would rather have a longer/narrow view.

I didn’t trust the magnet mounts that the flex comes with stock. These are easy to install and securely hold the camera in place.

Secure mount to deter theft. Easily adjusted after installation. Nice quality.

Easy to set up and operate. Try out locations. A new strong router is recommended.

This mount secures my Canary Flex from theft. The color I wanted was not a stock item at Best Buy so I had to wait until it was ordered and received so I could pick it up. I wanted white to blend in with the color of my house.

I am definitely a fan of this product, i do feel that the functonality could be better.

Easy installation. Multiple angle positioning should work for most applications.

This will lock down the camera with a hex bolt. It won't stop it from being removed 100%, but it makes it more difficult. This mount is quite solid.

Mount that comes with Canary allows camera to slip and has to be adjusted. This solves the problem.

Securing the camera is done well with this and its wierd bolts that you need a special tool that is provided to mount and dismount

I like how small and solid this is. It pretty good overall

already went on my vacation. and felt very secure with knowing this system was up and running. left them plugged in and didn't have an issue with its performance at all.
