I’m very happy with this Segway scooter. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and feels stable while riding. The speed is great for getting around the neighborhood, and the ride feels smooth and comfortable. I also really like the RGB lights, especially when riding in the evening. It’s easy to fold, doesn’t take up much space, and charging is simple. Overall, it’s a great scooter for everyday use and a lot of fun to ride. I would definitely recommend it!

Perfect Birthday Gift – My Son Absolutely Loves It
ArthurM Posted
I bought this electric scooter as a birthday surprise for my son, and it has been an absolute hit! From the moment he unwrapped it, his face lit up, and he’s been riding it almost every day since. The build quality feels solid – the large wheels handle our park paths and grass really smoothly without getting stuck or bumpy like some cheaper models we’ve tried before. The speed is just right for his age (not too wild, but fast enough to feel exciting), and the brakes respond quickly, which gives me peace of mind as a parent. He wears his helmet every time (safety first!), and the adjustable handlebars seem like they’ll grow with him for a while. The whole family enjoys watching him zoom around the neighborhood – even I hopped on for a quick ride and was impressed by how fun and stable it is. Battery life has been great too; it lasts through several sessions before needing a charge. If you’re looking for a gift that brings tons of joy and gets kids active outdoors, this is it. Highly recommend – worth every penny!

Good scooter, poor quality control
AdamR Posted
I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my daughter and she was super excited when she unwrapped the box. Segway makes good products as they always keep safety and mind and their app is very helpful and easy to navigate. Setup was quick and easy and my daughter is able to see all of stats right in her phone. I removed one star due to a lack of quality control in the lug nut cover design. The front tire lug nuts have a cheap plastic bumper cover to protect them from dust, water and other small debris’s I would imagine. On my daughter’s first go around, the left side lug nut bumper cover just fell off and broke. While I don’t think it will affect the functionality of the scooter, it doesn’t look good especially.

I got this to commute daily because the traffic is bumper to bumper for me to get to work. I commute 9 miles each way and do it in 40 minutes. I’ve owned it for a month and it feels really solid. I’ve gotten compliments on the look too. I really love the scooter and I’m thinking of getting a faster more expensive Segway down the line. I totally recommend this one if you’re looking for reliable daily commuter or for zipping around.

It works great for bumpy terrains, the control and suspension is great! However, the battery is only for covering short distances, so it's great for short commutes daily, and then you charge it overnight.

Excellent Gift – Perfect for Kids!
MariaG Posted
I recently gifted this electric scooter to my 9-year-old son, and it has been an absolute hit! From the moment he unboxed it, he couldn’t wait to take it for a spin—and it definitely lived up to the excitement. The build quality is impressive, sturdy enough to feel safe but still lightweight enough for a child to manage on their own. The speed is just right for his age—fun and fast enough to feel exciting, but not so fast that I have to worry about safety. It also has a smooth acceleration and reliable brakes, which gave me peace of mind as a parent. The battery life is great too. He’s able to ride it for several days on a single charge with moderate use, and charging is quick and hassle-free. Another bonus: it’s surprisingly quiet, so he can ride around the neighborhood without disturbing anyone. Overall, this scooter has encouraged him to spend more time outdoors and away from screens, which I really appreciate. If you’re looking for a fun, practical, and well-made electric scooter for your child, I highly recommend this one!

Great in between for my active 10yr old
ElijahK Posted
Great fit for my not quite 5’ , 10yr old boy. He loves it so far. Quick enough to keep up with other friends who prefer bikes (but not so fast I worry about him being reckless). Easily gets up hills in neighborhood and charge keeps up with him and his typical 10+ hr play days on the weekend w/ friends. Headlight and tail lite were a must for me as he often waits till dusk to head home. Would buy again

After my workplace had a change in management, my bike suddenly became a safety issue, and i was told to not bring to work anymore, so i saved some money and got me this escooter, it goes 20 mph, which is faster than my old bike, and i don't need to worry about the tires or gears anymore, only thing i do need to worry about is the charge which can take anywhere between 3 to 6 hours to fully charge it, so far its been one of the best purchases I've made recently, I love this scooter

The Best Writer's Scooter
Misha Posted
Great Scooter for Short Trips The Segway E2 Plus II is a solid choice for short commutes and casual rides. It reaches a comfortable top speed of about 15 mph, folds easily for storage, and feels sturdy without being excessively heavy. The front suspension helps smooth out cracks and small bumps, while the headlight, taillight, and customizable RGB lighting are useful additions. The advertised 16-mile range is achievable under ideal conditions, but the actual range will depend on speed, rider weight, terrain, and hills. Its biggest limitation is uphill performance, so it is better suited to flatter streets than steep neighborhoods. Overall, this is a dependable and beginner-friendly scooter with a good combination of portability, safety features, and performance. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
