2020 . Sam Prekop's boundless imagination is guided by his strong sense of melody. For more than 25 years, as a solo artist or as part of The Sea and Cake, Prekop creates a singular sound that is both inventive and warm. New album Comma takes Pekop's electronic music experiments in a surprising new direction. Working extensively with beat programming for the first time, Prekop uses rhythm as a narrative tool, tapping into electronic music's romantic and emotional qualities. Comma embraces the analogue synthesizer's often unpredictable nature, imbuing the record with a decidedly organic feel even while working within the relative rigidity of beat architectures.

If anyone knows how to roll with the punches, it's Travis Roberts. At 24, the Texas songwriter has already battled addiction, buried friends, and been so broke he couldn't put a roof over his head. He even joined an underground fight club just to pay for studio time. Then Roberts comes out swinging on his blistering debut, Rebel Rose. Recorded with Roberts' longtime live band, The Willing Few, the album fuses earnest country storytelling with rowdy rock and roll energy as it blurs the lines between roots, punk, folk, and power pop. The writing is raw and visceral here, built on gritty portraits of working-class underdogs just trying to get by, and the performances are nothing short of explosive, propelled by a relentless rhythm section, searing guitars, and infectious melodic hooks. The result is an exhilarating album that defies easy categorization, an alternately bruising and triumphant reflection on growing up, getting clean, and giving it your all from an artist who's taken more than his fair share of hits. Every fighter knows, it doesn't matter how many times you get knocked down. All that matters is how many times you get back up

Limited double 180 gram white vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. Ison is the debut album of Iranian-born Dutch artist Sevdaliza. After releasing her Edison nominated visual masterpiece Human, and her acclaimed short film The Formula, Sevdaliza is defining art with her mystical audio-visual experiences. So far Sevdaliza already amassed millions of plays on Youtube and Spotify. She recently collaborated with A$AP Ferg and was also featured on Parisian producer STWO's latest single InchHauntedInch. As much as Ison is about the human experience, it is mostly about Sevdaliza returning to her spirit guided by past lives. By following her intuition, her unconscious guided her on a path which one present form might never reproduce. InchAll the knowledge that is not of the senses, not of the intellect, not of the heart but is the property that belongs to the deepest aspect of your being.Inch Ison is an experience of that being. Sevdaliza's melancholic visceral voice ?oats over beds of thumping trip hop dubs, married with classical harmonies and cutting strings setting an enigma. Rhythmic tensions build slowly into chaotic climaxes. ISON has been described as Inchgenre-bendingInch, drawing on various genres.
