I tested the mic at home with my voice and it worked great. The big test was when I used it to record 4k video with my a6600 during a parade of Mardi Gras/st Patrick. It was windy with loud music, musicians, crowd and it did a great job when I listened at home afterwards. After watching many youtube videos, I think the quality is better than the Sony’s mics at the same specs; sad though it doesnt do the stereo or more option for sound direction (without jumping on Mke440 or 600). I think its great for amateur videographer as I am.
